Vancouvia's Major International Corporations
Coldwater Brookstone
Considered one of the "Large 5" accounting firms, Coldwater is a worldwide company with a wide range of accounting services including auditing, tax, financial services, and advisory. Formed from the merger of Coldwater-Smith and Brookstone Capital, Coldwater Brookstone has a long and storied history in both the accounting and banking industries. Coldwater is often regarded as one of the most prestigious firms currently operating in the market.
Winter Robotics
Since 2002, Winter Robotics has been an international leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of small-service autonomous robots and machines. In the last few years Winter has transitioned from primarily manufacturing products to primarily consumer products, and is currently heavily involved in the creation of small, personal-use drones. Winter is also the supplier of the Vancouvian National Army's Yukon UAVs.
Vacala International
Vacala maintains a near completely dominance of the national cattle industry, and also differentiates itself through the poultry, fish-farming, and lumber industries. Headquartered in Lexington's cattle basin, Vacala has over 40,000 employees and is Vancouvia's leading producer of meat and dairy products.
Greenview Solar and Wind
Rising out of founder Michael Hawthorne's dreams for an entirely renewable-power nation, Greenview has become a regional titan in the energy industry, with operations in solar, wind, and hydro plants. Greenview is currently in the production stage of a massive solar power tower initiative in the Old Sands peninsula.
Soldotna World Energy
Based in Vesuvius but with operations throughout the region, Soldotna is a major supplier of nuclear energy solutions, owning the majority of the six Vancouvian nuclear plants. Soldotna is heavily subsidized by the Vancouvian government and is actively involved in the research of more efficient means of producing nuclear energy. Soldnota was acquired by Oster Consortium for Energy Solutions in late 2016, with the Vancouvian government now maintaining only a 20% interest.
Narwhalia Oil and Natural Gas
An offshore oil and natural gas company, Narwhalia was forced to lay off over half its workforce following the exhaustion of oil supplies off Independence Island in late 2016. It was entirely acquired by Soldotna Energy in June 2018.
