The Reinstitution of Socialist Principles

Today is a glorious day for Shaktirajya as it marks the return to the socialist principles on which our country was founded. After the crashing of the economy due to the enactment of the erroneous, poorly-reasoned out, and execrable issue #221 (a curse be upon it!) regarding tax codes which completely destroyed all publicly owned AND subsidized PRIVATE businesses (a point NOT mentioned or deducible from the issue), the Hindu Matriarchy was forced to enact a policy of restructuring known as Punarvardhitva (Sanskrit. "Restructuring"), an economic liberalization akin to the Perestroika movement and glastnost ("openness") policy in the Soviet Union of the Gorbachev Era.

The economic liberalization was slow, and many penurious citizens died as a result of the cruel and merciless capitalist reforms, but the economy eventually rose from the ashes, skyrocketing in just a short period after the initial burst to reach a near all-time high. The economy has now largely returned to the People's hands, the remaining private industry merely waits for the appropriate time to be nationalized, and returned to the loving bosom of the Goddess in the form of Her earthly manifestation, Her most august assembly, the Sisterhood of Huggy-Squeezables and the Gemeinschaft of Shaktirajya's citizens.

As we await the nationalization of the remaining private industry may the citizens of the Hindu Matriarchy move forward together in a spirit of amity, harmony, and concord.
