The Whispering Trees of Forest Breeze is a client state of The Robo Sapiens of Turbeaux in Forest. Thusly, it has the same leader (Ed Abbey's head) and official faith (Machine Worship). It is a highly populated nation that is located on a small, heavily forested island. Nearly the entire population lives in the capital and hypercity of Spruce Hollow. Spruce Hollow contains a vast arcology that extends from thousands of meters underground to thousands of meters aboveground. This arcology has rocket engines and is prepared to take off and relocate if Forest Breeze faces any existential threats that cannot be thwarted by the militaries of Turbeaux and its various allies. Ed Abbey's head is literally Ed Abbey's head in a jar attached to a robotic body (think Futurama but with robotic bodies). His body is awe-inspiring to the extent that many people in both Turbeaux and Forest Breeze worship it as a god. Forest Breeze shares Turbeaux's flag, which represents a shining phoenix of freedom rising up to inspire others (in official Forest green and white). Forest Breeze's currency is the carbon credit (abbreviated ꞒꞒ in currency markets) which can be exchanged for Turbeaux's nacelles at a rate of 1:1 despite the fact that it is not pegged to the nacelle (traders often exploit this relationship in order to profit). Forest Breeze's national animal is the whirligig beetle due to a (likely apocryphal) story about one of these creatures saving a young Ed Abbey from a flash flood while he was attending the University of New Mexico in 1950. Most residents of Forest Breeze are loyal to Turbeaux (due to its protective role and Ed Abbey's head's formidable machine body) but there is a small but growing group that desires independence.
