The First Ceratan War(1910-1916)

The first Ceratan war(1910-1916) was a war fought between the loyal Hedgehogs of the Republic Cerata and rebel splinter factions within the country that disagreed with Ceratan beliefs. Rebels had gained hold of the northwestern shore of Cerata, such as Coney beach and Pepper Island, and artillery pieces, weapons, and explosives were handled there. Rebels also had siezed 8 airfields and 5 army bases during the night during a quick charge into the center of the city, including Mackenzie, Hedgehog, Ceratin, and Calipso. Two of which were burned during the rebel's retrat. These splinter factions, with the element of surprise quickly charged headfirst into the middle cities of Cerata with rifles and machine guns, gaining ground. Air support was scrambled but to no avail as the fighting was located mainly in urban areas and the biplanes flew helplessly around in circles, and was left to the army.
