His Majesty Baloo XIIBorn to the former monarch, Baloo Bruinwald XI, King Baloo von Bruinwald XII was a faithful, mildly imperialistic male who was a previous monarch of the Baloo Kingdom. He had two siblings, however one died close to birth leaving him with only one. He was a stern man who only tolerated a certain amount of trouble while still finding space to be merciful in the criminal justice system. He is currently deceased, and while alive, attempted to boost the dying economy of the Baloo Kingdom by laying claim to many new lands and forms of trade with other nations. His reign accounted for the largest territorial gain in the history of the nation.

Baloo von Bruinwald XII was born in Salvador, Brazil. Being born shortly after the close of the American Civil War, Brazil had a great interest in the wares and welfare of America. As a child, he was taught to respect others above or below him, to be courteous to other nation's leaders when in a meeting, and to do everything in his power to glorify the Greater Baloo Kingdom. He when to business school at the South Bear Institution, and after he met and courted the soon-to-be queen, Janet III. Proceeding his marriage, he was coronated as King by his father Baloo XI, who was still alive at the time, on July 30th, 1880. Soon, he was trading away with other nations, increasing the power of the Baloo Kingdom's economy. He sent droves of troops to conquer the much-unoccupied land in South America to various islands in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. Mostly all of his missions were successful, with the exception of the infamous "South Georgia Incident". He was moderately religious in his deeds, deviating from his zealot father, Baloo XI.

Political Views
King Baloo von Bruinwald XII was similar to his father when it came to political views. He was just about as conservative as the average ruler in the late 1800s, however, he seemed to vary from the stereotype of the day. Most of his decisions as ruler accurately reflected the populace's opinions. In fact, he still holds the record for the ruler of Baloo Kingdom with the most consistently high citizen approval rate. He was very friendly with the common person, a trait that later rubbed off on his son, Baloo XIII.
Religious Views
Baloo von Bruinwald XII is a member of the Lutheran Christian Church and his religious views are fairly moderate. He will tolerate other religions to a point, however, only a small percentage of the Baloo Kingdom at the time was another religion or irreligious. Baloo XII loved the church and gave them much thought in the decisions of the government. His continued decision to not separate church and state was not controversial at the time.
Hobbies
King Baloo von Bruinwald XII's hobbies include sailing, fishing, cartography, attending church services, attempting to draw music, ballroom dance, governing, and casual baseball. He enjoys the company of others but doesn't like to try many new things.
