We have that freedom, but we have the duty too to avoid aboard topics that might generate an unwanted controvertial situation.

It is important for justice reasons to consider what has happened in USA at the capital building in Washington DC. If this had been any Islam, Black, or anyone other than white men, there would be a guantanamo, where prisoners have no rights and torture, beatings. We MUST ask for justice!
As an American, I do share that sentiment. We recognize that crimes committed by certain groups are viewed as less serious than those committed by other groups. However, changing these perceptions will require more than just legislation. Structural and institutional reform is great, but even more important is societal reform for battling these issues at the core and in the long term.
As for Friday sermons, we don't publish any region-specific sermons because we don't feel anyone in this region is in a position to make such types of religious statements. This is a religious region but not a theocratic one. However, if you feel some sort of regional weekly Naseeha is a good idea, you can send me a proposal and I'll review it with my colleagues in the government. As sons and daughters of God, we are pulled out of our desires and circumstances so that we may look at the Earth through Heaven's eyes. Our Creator, we owe Him everything, and aren't always pleased with Him. Can we expect more for someone we've done nothing for? Because surely, if your nation had to chose the fate of the nation over your life, you'd be dead. However, God brought this universe into being, for us to enjoy it together.
We aren't called to love a geographical area, or only the people within it. We are called to love the World just as He does, unconditionally. We aren't perfect, but that's what we should strive for above everything else.
Every person on this earth deserves all the love you can give by nature of them being so treasured by God. Patriotism and nationalism is merely idolatry of what God blesses people with, family, prosperity, hope for the future.
