Only if you feel compelled to. Otherwise, it's completely fine to remain independent like myself. I personally like being independent because I don't feel like I'm defined by a platform. All four parties do have great people in them though!

Secondly, I don’t play this game full of pagans because of family reasons, and don’t care if you ban me, kick me, hang me, kill me, I don’t play this game! I have replied 4 times that I don’t care and I don’t play the game because I got 4 billion notifications, but that idk,,judge,, is not listening!!! I may be full of hate and I will probably go to hell, but not a single man can convince you that LGBT is not Christian. Bye

Brother, I am Orthodox as well. Am I “blind in my pagan faith” too?

Christ did not come to condemn the world. Our Church teaches that Christ, God in the flesh, came so that man might once again be drawn nearer to Him, no longer to flounder in darkness but to once more join His Creator in the Paradise. Our God does not want condemnation or wrath, for the Scriptures state that God wills no one to damnation, and desires for all to repent and be drawn to Christ (2 Peter 3:9). If I cannot say anything to convince you, I’ll let the revered Saints of our Church speak for Her:

“Never confuse the person, formed in the image of God, with the evil that is in him: because evil is but a chance misfortune, an illness, a devilish reverie. But the very essence of the person is the image of God, and this remains in him despite every disfigurement.”
— St. John of Kronstadt

You seem very young, and your zeal for the Faith is commendable, but do not allow that zeal for Christ to become a torch that burns away forests. Use that light as a candle to seek a path in darkness, and to enlighten others to the Truth. Christ spoke the truth in love, ate with hated sinners (including prostitutes and tax collectors), and ultimately died so that even those communists, pagans, “fake Christians,” and others you seem to have a judging gaze cast upon can be cleansed and drawn into His Church. You acknowledge that you sin in your hatred, but brother there is great news: Christ can heal that disease and make you whole.

Don’t be a torch for burning down others homes, be a candle that enlightens others in love, hope, and faith. I will be praying for you brother.

But I am a worm and no man,
scorned by men, despised by the people.
All who see me deride me.
They curl their lips, they toss their heads.
‘He trusted in the Lord, let him save him;
let him release him if this is his friend.’

Yes, it was you who took me from the womb,
entrusted me to my mother’s breast.
To you I was committed from my birth,
from my mother’s womb you have been my God.
Do not leave me alone in my distress;
come close, there is none else to help.

𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Do not leave me alone in my distress;

I've always felt guilty, about Psalm 87 (88), writing about it wrongly. Maybe I was naïve, or something. I just felt like I did injustice to the psalm. If you look at this exact psalm closely, it tells us the passion of Christ. It begins with the words, «My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?» We remember this with Jesus on the Cross; one of the seven last words.

In the NABRE bible (New American Bible, Revised Edition) it is titled «Plea for Deliverance from Suffering and Hostility». Now I want to say that all psalms, as psalm 88 is as well, is crucial to our salvation history as each psalm, law, and prophecy had been fulfilled in the cross of Jesus Christ.

We could look at the psalms in many ways. One as describing God or specifically Jesus, or second as describing ourselves either past present or future. This «past» is the Israel, whom is God's favoured land. Some of the psalms tells about the history of Israel. This «present» is the Church, the whole body, amalgamation, or communion of people drawn by Jesus Christ to be one. Some of the Psalms describes what we are, such as being sheep of His flock. This «future» is how we must act, especially at Psalm 118 (119) where it's lore is an extensive "love of the law".

The Psalms are prayers in song or just plain read. Another reason why I loved the Liturgy of the Hours is that, it connects me and my day, through wonderful poetry, to God's majestic presence. It is sacred, and something we should think about. It puts our mind into meditation, where each word of the psalm, each phrase, whilst imagining them is meditation on its meaning.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫:Let us, remember through the canticle, humility, as exampled by Christ Jesus. 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲.

Philippians 2
Canticle
Christ, God's holy servant

℣. We adore You O Christ, and we bless You.
℟. Because by Your holy Cross, You have redeemed the world.

Though he was in the form of God,
Jesus did not deem equality with God
something to be grasped at.

Rather, he emptied himself
and took the form of a slave,
being born in the likeness of men.

He was known to be of human estate
and it was thus that he humbled himself,
obediently accepting even death,
death on a cross!

Because of this,
God highly exalted him
and bestowed on him the name
above every other name,

So that at Jesus’ name
every knee must bend
in the heavens, on the earth,
and under the earth,
and every tongue proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!

Glory to the Father and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now,
and will be for ever. Amen.

℣. We adore You O Christ, and we bless You.
℟. Because by Your holy Cross, You have redeemed the world.

Peace and All Good!

Today is the 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢

The Angelic Doctor, Saint Thomas Aquinas, a very fervent devotee to the Blessed Sacrament, proposed the feast to Pope Urban IV. A feast solely dedicated to the Eucharist, that is the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. Saint Thomas Aquinas made many hymns to the Eucharist, the most famous being the Pange Lingua (more famous the last two stanzas called Tantum Ergo).

Let us begin today's Daily

In the name of the Father, ✠
and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit,
𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗻.

God our loving Father,
grant us the grace
to hear what we ought to hear,
to see what we ought to see,
that we might do what we ought to do,
in Jesus' name we pray.
Amen.

𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲'𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 is from the Holy Gospel according to 𝕵𝖔𝖍𝖓 6:52-59
New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE)

The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?” Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.” These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Jews quarreled among themselves

I've always thought about, how genius Jesus is especially at this is. Of course He is God, Wisdom Himself, but still the completeness of how mysteries are understood is just great and joyful to my heart. I told this many times to my mother, Jesus knew how to truly be with us knowing and understanding completely the Human Body. At biology or physiology class, we understand that food is distributed throughout our body through the intestinal villi and microvilli that has blood vessels.

So as nutrients are distributed to our body through this digestive track, so when we receive Jesus in the Eucharist, either in Body or Blood, or both, we receive Jesus completely. How beautiful wisdom of the Most High!

Now now, reading this again, I'm giggling that the "Jews quarreled among themselves". Surely who wouldn't be scandalized about cannibalism. Another point that I would also take part is that, our home is in heaven, as Jesus always pointed out that His kingdom is not on earth but in Heaven. The Jews did not understand, maybe many fail to grasp the beauty of the Eucharist, but as all gifts are given from Heaven to earth—rain, sunlight—so too do we need to persevere to grasp the things in Heaven eternally after we die.

And we should hold on to that promise of God, a new life, especially to defeat despair and learn to love completely even if we sin. For we sin, that is a fact, we sin and no one is perfect compared to the All Good God. But what we can do even if we sin, is that we should increase our faith, never cease praying, so as to never despair the love of God. Seek reconciliation AND DO PENANCE in times that we do bad. Never despair because we would only make ourselves mis'rable. And God loves a happy you.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: I admit that I sinned, and fell to temptation. But no one has the right to tell that I am or you are better than them, because equally, God is above us. Receive the Eucharist, because it unites us with God, completely, even evidently as physiology tells us. But if by circumstances, and/or because of our sins we really cannot at the moment, let us ask humbly to our loving God. 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲.

💙 I'd also like to wish all of my American friends a happy Juneteenth and Father's Day! 💙
