I think I've said this two times to you, so has Altera and Segen might have said this once. You apologize and you apologize, yet you seem to change nothing. What use is apologizing if you actually don't work on it?
Instead of coming once every few weeks complaining that people don't join your RP and don't want to cooperate with you, do something about it. Instead of whining, make it so that people want to join your RP and want to cooperate with you. You complaining about it isn't going to change anything, your actions are going to.
EDIT: And for someone who claims to take criticism "in stride", you surely are not listening to people trying to give you advice...
Hey guys, been playing NS for nearly 4 years now - decided to take a hiatus. Moved to the TWI because I remember it fondly. I'll be spending some time curating a unique nation before jumping into RP and collaborative history, but howdy :)
Oh, and I'll join the WA soon enough, I'm just a bit wrapped up with work at the same time.
FUR/Shythania. I was a bit of a d*ck ('scuse the French, moderators) and of course I'll apologise for that but instead of dwelling on it I intend to work towards proving I am way more reliable than that and can actually be a mature, long-term RPer.
I've got an idea that I've been drawing up on a (beautiful) mindmap on paper for my nation. Instead of basing it off any culture group or whatever blah blah it's gonna be a nation built off (partially) my beliefs and by doing what other people in the region aren't doing.
I've noticed a lot of people like to say "oh there was big empire a long time ago and then we fell into chaos but then came out strong". Whilst there isn't anything wrong with that in my opinion, I just think maybe I could freshen it up a bit. Perhaps, now this may be a stretch, but my nation was created by another nation for their own national interests? I dunno, I'm gonna try and make a flag or something.
Not quite. Think Belgium for example. "Belgium" didn't exist until us Brits went "eh, yeah, sure" and divided the Dutch up. A nation that is a state, but not a nation-state.
Your flag reminds me of Wellsia, not that that has to so with anything But yeah, I think maybe if you're going with the Belgium idea, then our local evil empire known as Athara magarat would be a good person to contact
1. That meme old, boyo. 2. Clearly someone unenlightened or not truly passionate about the subject would say that. *Some* people like to get their information not just from Google and Wikipedia articles ...
True story, a user I was assisting at work yesterday was part of the Echo-5/Skynet launch. Got some real insights from our brief chat about the state of GPS.
Alteran republics
We created Belgium, then we are the defacto creators and owners of the EU.
