The Argentine-Antarctic War | Part 2: The New Years Offensive With the year 2122 beginning, the Antarctic Imperium launches their full offensive against the New Argentine Republic. As the fresh batch of Antarctic Soldiers go on their way to the battlefront, the Argentine troops besieged in the city of El Calafate escape via the lake and make a panicked escape north attempting to defend from Antarctic occupiers in the south. With the Argentines fleeing further north, Southern Patagonia is then put under full Antarctic Occupation. The Antarctic invasion force arrives to Argentina soon later and quickly the Patagonian offensive restarted with the Second Battle of Trelew which was a decisive Antarctic victory causing for a quick Antarctic push north out of the Chubut province with their goal to reach the Rio Negro. In Buenos Aires, the Antarctic military was provided with substantial new numbers and ordered to begin the invasion of the city. Antarctic troops made their first landing a bit east of Buenos Aires and began their attack on the Argentine Capital. The Argentine government makes a move to Cordoba as Antarctic bombings of Buenos Aires increase. Antarctic Troops march into the city engaging in intense urban warfare. The Antarctic forces in Buenos Aires then decide to attempt a landing near the centre of the city. Landing craft ships try to speed to the city and manage to make a landing on an island nearby to Argentine Congress. Heavy gunfire from Argentines pins them down only two miles away from the Argentine Congress building, unable to make any form of substantial gains towards the congress. The eastern assault on the city continues to ramp up as Antarctic tanks are brought into the city speeding up the invasion. The troops on the island hold out for the eastern assault to reach them to make a move for the Congress even though the islander numbers are still growing. As the Battle of Buenos Aires continues, the Patagonian Offensive intensifies with Antarctic troops having reached the coastal Rio Negro. The Patagonian offensive changes directions focusing westward. Antarctic troops reach Neuquen and face off against the largest Argentine force gathered other than in Buenos Aires. Antarctic artillery tries to weaken the Argentine defenders, but the Argentines continue to hold out and stop the Antarctic attempts to take the city. Then a sudden Argentine counterattack at the city forces a slight bit further away from the city down the Rio Negro being stopped by an intense Antarctic carpet bombing along the river decimating the Argentines chasing Antarctic troops down the river. Antarctic forces manage to return to their artillery bombardment of the city followed by an Argentine retreat from the area further north. Back in Buenos Aires, the eastern focus finally reached an area near the island landing causing Antarctic troops on the island to break out of their positions pinned down on the island moving into the city and merging with the eastern troops. A charge for the congress is made and the Congress is soon captured by Antarctic troops. Many Argentine forces retreat from the city upriver as the Antarctic troops continue gaining ground in the city. With what the Antarctic military called a successful capturing of the city, they began an attack along more of the coast of the Buenos Aires province successfully taking large parts of it. Argentine forces were soon expelled from Buenos Aires city entirely. With the fall of the Argentine capital and the collapse of the southern Argentine defending force, Antarctic military officials expect the Argentines to capitulate soon, declaring the New Years Offensive a great success.

Former Japanese-Branca terrorist and insurgent leader, Aleksander Suzuko escaped the Yitano Maximum Security Prison off the Persian Coast with the help of his military group, Bronchi Corp. This group has been working with MANSAB for the past 5 years and their goal is to bring the Yi Empire to its knees. They killed 750 out of the 1500 guards who were present at the prison. Only 25 guards were left unharmed. He plans to take over the Branca government as he’s good friends with their General Robert Hammond and their “President” Fred Tibunal. General Hammond has been using the Bronchi Group to help him with the Australian defense. With Suzuko back however and ready for vengeance he gives a new meaning to his fellow comrades. He gives a speech for his rescuers:
My friends, you have done well in helping me get out of this place. Thank you all for keeping the faith alive. It has been 5 years since I saw each of you. Its now time to head back to Bramcaland and take back what is truly our. The Yi Empire may no longer feed the world with their filthy lies, we shall make contact with MANSAB who I heard are working with a recognized world power. With our combined strength we shall rid the world of the Yi Parasite!
Yianna: He said you were quite nice and he really wished you were able to stay and watch him get coronated. He was really looking forward to get coffee with you.
Jingliu: "I'll... I guess I'll have coffee with him when we return. But I presume that as the Emperor of Yi, it wouldn't reflect too well on him if he is seen having coffee and pastries with a Chinese government official."
As she is talking, she casually pulls out a butterfly knife and begins twirling it on her fingers absentmindedly.

Yu Suko: “We have YSS Task Force 007 helping us with this mission. We have Cindy Pylo, brothers Greg and Will O’Malley, Ryn Urzik, Vincenzo Momont, Ia Graliposky and Kyrell ‘Cash’ Farwell. Jingliu and Chung-Li, if you don’t have any weapons, please take the main and sidearms in the trunk. I can’t have this mission be a failure.”
