This section explains how humanity should approach other alien species based on the mentioned factors, but the ways we do must always have something in common, presenting humanity as a powerful, experienced and not-easy to knock down force, but we are reasonable enough to negotiate and cooperate if the aliens don't try to provoke or cheat us.
*Categorisation:
Level 0: If the aliens are not classified as intelligent life, not showing signs of a functional cilvilization or even resemble their primitive ancestors, but act on their natural instincts, like wild animals, then they are free to be treated as foreign resources, research materials and part of the local ecosystem.
Level 1: If the aliens have enough signs of intelligent life, and live in societies with hierarchies, and exhibit knowledge of advancement, but are far below humans (this technological gap can range from level similar to primitive humans, medieval technology, to basic muskets and fossil fuel), they are to be destroyed completely if unwilling to cooperate, but if otherwise, then they are to be peacefully subjegated through material, ideological, and religious methods, as they will act as valuable local supports in distant, hostile terrains. How much we favor them depends on the current situation, their technology, beliefs, culture, importance, etc...
Level 2: If the aliens exhibit similar intelligence, cilvility and technological advancement to humanity, slightly less or more, then they are to be approached carefully. Humanity should slowly approach them without showing violence, establish communication, and began advertising our image as powerful, but peaceful and willing to cooperate economically and technologically, if they don't cross us. If they hesistate or refuse. just keep a distant. and try to sway them with soft power. If they provoke or attack first, then DO NOT be afraid to response with excessive force, and try to blow a quick devastating hit, the conflict doesn't need to be long, just enough for them to realise who they're messing with and flee. Humanity should also take notice and remain neutral of intergalactic-political tensions between them, and instead focus on how to juice more resources and interests out of them, like selling arms and resources to both sides.
-Level 3:If the aliens show much higher intelligence, advancement, and military or economic powers than humans, then divide into 3 options. If the aliens are neutral, and are deemed to be instrumental for the benefits of humanity, then carefully approach them in peace, exhibit our lesser but undeniably strong power and our willingness to learn and cooperate, if they accept then good, if they refuse then carry on. If the aliens are active threats to humanity, then immediately prepare our military and economic capabilities, and try to prevent war by showing our power, as lesser, but will undeniably humiliate and heavily cripple the aliens if they try to pick a fight with us, but all the while trying to communicate clearly and non-provokably, intimidation is enough. If the aliens actively try to approach humanity with proposals for cooperation, carefully analyse it and respond with positivity and willingness to accept the cooperation, but must carefully and respectfully navigate out of the way if one of their demands is for us to become their official intergalactic-political ally, we want to remain neutral, but will still help them.
-Level 4: If the aliens exhibit advancement and abilities beyond what any other beings can achieve, it is best advised to lay low and not make contact with these aliens, and if you are somehow caught in the way of one, try to carefully and swiftly back out of any matters of them you were standing in front of. Try to avoid alerting them of your presence and avoid military confrontations unless 100% cornered. If the final case is true, then prepare for World Class Omega level destruction events.
