Anybody watch anything good recently? My sis finally got me to give Demon Slayer a go and I've been enjoying it. Inner animation nerd really loving some of the unique visual style for the flashy attacks. :D
In theory I should be okay for another 7-8 years on the fires. At least I've got my awesome new camera the next time the hills above me light up! (Hiding behind my camera lens helps me stay a functioning human being and not a puddle of panic. ^^; )
Dear goddess no! o_O If you're going to do something that suicidally stupid, they make remote trigger systems; set the camera up and start it from somewhere SAFE!
We got that nice pic of a tornado on the street I live on.. we heard the siren and just went outside.. Need to know which direction it's coming from so we will know if we end up in Oz or Hell..

I just finished season 6 of Lucifer today. It was fun. Now I'm rewatching Solar Opposites again. They could do a whole spinoff about the weird adventures the Pupa goes on when the rest of the family is doing weird alien stuff. xD
I seriously cannot fathom how people willingly live in places they get entire seasons of spinning doom clouds. Both the tornado or the hurricane flavors. Just.... eeeee no.

Oh you will love the new one. It's amazing! Has a small nod to the original one, and to Archie in the credits.
I suppose I haven't got too much room to throw shade at folks for dealing with high winds though. Our Santa Anas can get to hurricane force gusts on the regular. ^^;

Well, Lucifer leads the demons and the Ashura-kai against the angels whom are lead by Merkabah. Satan is the result of fusing Merkabah and Lucifer together, who goes on to test whether or not you are strong enough to fight god.
To be fair, the firenadoes are quite rare and already well within the burn zone, and usually the rest of the fire is a much bigger problem at that point. :P
Fortunately, they are damned hard TO burn in the first place. Both them and the big coastal redwoods have extremely high tannin content in their bark and wood, which helps make them pretty burn resistant. Most of them have visible scorching around their bases, some are still doing just fine despite smoldered-out hollows in the trunk and so on. :D
