The defense minister could arrive just in time to witness the last plane full of weapons and soldiers leave to Termendor.
After grabbing his suitcase and heading off to the parliament, “Why do we need such an amount of troops heading to Termendor?” he thought while entering, but quickly recovered after passing the door and heading to a meeting with the other ministers to talk about “serious problems”.
After he took a seat at the table, the other ministers all looked at him with a serious expression, as if they wanted to spit all the wrong things he did.
The economic minister was the first to speak: “You made all wrong, we are wasting money on the military, and they aren't even defending us!” he said with an angrier expression that he usually has, as if he lost all his money all of the sudden thanks to Acenda.
Then the economic minister opened his suitcase and pulled out a big chunk of papers with the last year economic expenses.
“We wasted too much money for the military, and i don't like much what's happening round us, and where is it? Where's our military, the one I spent millions on? On Termendor, they aint doing anything but watch over for mines, “cities” and industrial buildings, we don't need all our army there, i can count how many soldiers we have here with my bare hand” He was suddenly interrupted by the NSAG chief, which glasses maintained him under an strange ambience, the economic minister stopped talking after glancing at him.
“We need those mines, we need those industrial buildings, and we need those labs” He said, he then took a breath, and continued speaking. “Termendor is of big interest for us, and I want you to help them with anything they need. If you want an economic growth when we open your desired “money tracker” dinosaur park at the Black Pearl island, you have to pay him what he needs.”
There was silence after his words, he took a sipp from his coffee before going back to his dark corner of the room, as a mere observer of “his games”.
“I say, i have a plan” Said the minister of defense, who’s second surname is Dutch conveniently. “What we need is to enter the young people’s hearts, we need to make some attractive offers, and we can maybe become a regional power with our economy and military, though, we should become more “open” for that…” He approached the big television at the end of the room, a television big enough to block an small street from a village of Amarillo, he turned it on, the light was so bright, many of the ministers covered their eyes, except the NSAG chief, who seemed untouched by it.
“Well, as i was saying” He said while putting on some sunglasses. “I think my team and i made a pretty good propaganda, first of all, i think we could make some attractive offers, and im not asking to integrate the Enclave to the army. Im saying, im sure the sons or familiars of veterans are willing to join us, they have a very good medical assistance, if not saying FREE!”
The health minister looked with his sunglasses on, with a disgust face at his idea, thought he approves it.
“Second, we could put some propaganda ads on television, like… mid day? Mid day, yeah, when everybody is eating, then they could like… Think about it.”
The Raptor TV executive looked at the defense minister with a smile on his face and a North Osean (currency) on his eyes, behind the sunglasses.
