Bullets rained down from the second floor of a church window, the once beautiful Mural of an Ordayoxi Priest curing a sick man was now shattered and fallen onto the street below. DShK ammunition pierced a few Oskaari Soldiers before they sprinted behind the buildings, A loud bang soon came out of nowhere with a whistling noise afterwards. Then a deafening bang. Tohruian Mortars had zeroed in on the Oskaari Soldiers, as part as a complicated ambush created by Local Militia and the Tohruian battalion stationed in the city.
Another bang then whistles than an explosion, and then another, and then another rattled the air as the Oskaari Soldiers slowly moved out from behind the buildings, having a sniper shoot the DShK gunner right in the lower stomach. With the Gunner now dying due to a stomach wound it was easy for the Oskaari Soldiers to move up, clearing small rooms of resistance within the buildings of Hornstrandir.
Mortars continued to explode randomly around the soldiers, striking few while just causing panic, even hitting some buildings, splattering their bricks and debris all over the road.
With the main surprise of the ambush now over and the Mortar fire slowly being suppressed by Oskaari Squads clearing rooftops and alleyways, The Tohruian Government in the area has ordered a direct retreat from Hornstrandir to regroup and reorganize to mount a counter attack on the invaders of the nation.
"Personal," Mary answered. It was NOT within the choices of what Hawkins asked - indeed, it was personal, though it flew the Illuverendian flag on the front. "Apparently, this was brought during the Great Migration, and... yeah. This is one of our personal limousines from the Midford estate," she continued.
