We, the nations of Pandoska and Hong Kong Empire, have agreed to give the nation of Guyomartand a final six hour clemency. Within this time period, Guyomartand must pay back their debt in full. Should the six hours pass with insufficient payment, then we shall have no choice but to seize Guyomartian assets to make up our losses.

Tommatito

The sky glows a spectrum of pink to orange as Thomas Nelson trudges through the slushy mud and snow, the trees around him growing denser and taller. The monstrous castle still looms in the distance, after what seemed like hours, it felt like he still hasn’t gotten any closer to his destination. As the light dims it becomes more and more difficult to see and the temperature drops lower and lower. His steps grow clumsy and stiff as the cold penetrates to his bones. His muscles stiffen until it is nearly impossible to walk any further. Finally he just cannot walk any further and colapses to the ground and he passes out cold...
Thomas Nelson finally recovers his consciousness from the distant rumble of vehicles. Panic lodges in his throat, when he tries to scramble to his feet his limbs refuse to move, as if frozen in ice. He tries to squirm and struggles to move, he manages to pull his knees under his body and sit up into a kneeling position. As he gazes forward he is surprised to see the castle just ahead. He struggles to his feet and stumble to the massive front (so he assumes) doors. Beautifully intricate patterns within patters run across the surface of the grand doors are visable under vines and moss that coat the surface and cracks run deep into the stone. As he presses onto the doors and it creaks open slowly, the stench of mildew and rot wafts from inside. The sound of vehicles grows louder and closer. He spins around, looking back and then turns back and hurries into the castle.

Either it's a final phrase of a dictatorial regime before transitioning to a better democratic republic or exist only in games and may be, some fictional novels.

Benevolent dictatorial regime is a self-conflicting term itself, flawed right in both theory and philosophy, it might not even a proper term to decribe such a regime at all. Suppression of political freedom also means suppression of civil right, silence any people who dare to question their rule isn't that make them oppressors taking away their people's rights? Just look at real-life politics for instance: BREXIT, Gun control, abortion, immigration, National Healthcare, etc... they're all political matters that'll affect the rights of citizens in their respective country, even the governing system itself, a system of government allow people the right to express their political stances, allow them to be elected, be represented the group of other people having the same ideologies, using these ideologies as arguments, fundamental reasoning, guiding principles into making laws that will further protect, promote or extend their rights.

In reality scenario, political freedom is just about the same as civil right, takes Soviet Union for example, everyone has right to freely express their political stances as long as they remain within the communist ideology framework, align with Marxism-Lenism reasoning. They're undeniable a dictatorial regime, but do they have political freedom? Yes! Limited Far-left political freedom as permitted by the ruling goverment. Do they have any right at all? YES! Rights as what the goverment recognizes and allow to.

Benevolent dictatorship by definition is a very poorly constructed term uses to describe a regime, it makes zero sense in logical thinking and philosophy wise. It's good to remind that nationstates.net is just an online game, a promotion for Max Barry's works, any terms, gameplay mechanisms, ways of works that come from it should be treated as such. It's not good, and might be, potentially dangerous to be confused between how game and reality works. Cheers

The state of the federation was hanging by a thread. The president was off in British Bayonet to finalize the claims on -New Europe. A large group of very vocal people known as “choklatianische retter” were angry that the country had surrendered so quickly and easily during the last imperial war. They stood outside government buildings calling them cowards and traitors. Captain Ahab’s estate was burned to the ground by a crowd of angry rioters because he had ordered the fighters to cease fire. The returning soldiers were homeless, jobless, and shunned. The public viewed them as weaklings and a nuisance. Another group called “the soldatenjäger” ran the streets beating on the veterans of the war.

The leader of these groups was a young politician named Adrian Hallister. Adrian and his followers believed that Diche Choklate was an infallible country blessed by the gods and destined to conquer the universe. They believed that Diche Choklate could’ve taken all of HL and then some. “It is the fault of spineless politicians and a lack of respect and confidence toward their country that they had even considered tucking in their tails and running for the hills when the insignificant and empty threats came rolling in! The moment was not for cowardice but for a display of strength!” He said in a speech. He announced his running for President in the next election.

The economy had taken a dive since the war. It had been an expensive one and the payment to The Anarchist Far East did not help. What was 1 Cashmark before the war now cost 20. Many people lost their jobs and one of the greatest depressions that the country had ever seen now hung over the heads of all choklatians.
