My goal for this nation has been letting the computers take over and to embrace an ocean-oriented existence. I figured patriotism would be at the bottom of the list since i do not care about the citizens, only the information technology industry, and i am some how 8th in the flag-waving spot.
I am sure Max Brooks set up the algorithm to make his game seem more patriotic than it really is if people like technology more :-P

On a Maritime note (oceany), that story in my life may have altered. My acquaintance on the coast moved inland, my ship-detailing coworker is not working, the boat-dwelling musician fears my music, and the potential vessel that would have been mine is being sold instead. A sad time after an untaken potential next to a shame on top of a waste.
This makes me more available for an absurdly rich, eccentric Martimer to hire me for what ever respectable employment they want. (-;
