The Socialist Republic of Greater Vietnam

Comrades,

Comrade Courelli has proposed an amendment to the Solidarity Pact of NSLeft:

Proposed Amendment to the Solidarity Pact

Section 3.1.5 of the Solidarity Pact shall be amended to read:

3.1.5. The Central Committee, or any individual member(s) of the Central Committee, may be recalled by a proposal to that end, sponsored by at least 5 Comrades, subject to approval via a public vote of all Comrades requiring a two-thirds majority.

Read dispatch

Please vote in this thread to decide this matter: https://theredand.black/forums/topic/1040-proposed-amendment-to-the-nsleft-solidarity-pacts-section-315/

Comrades, you have until 12:01 AM October 1st to vote in the poll. Please choose one of the three options: FOR, ABSTAIN or VETO. Note that any comrade who votes 'VETO' is required to provide an explanation, otherwise their 'VETO' wouldn't count, because any explained 'VETO' vote will cause the proposal to fail.

==================

How is everyone feeling about the Pedagogical Freedom resolution in WA right now?

I'm really at an impasse with it.

Darfaria

"promote the right of parents to direct their children's education"
That just makes me vote no.

That just reeks of private Christian school that teaches kids to hate gay people

me and my nationstate both are sort of an-com, but I dont want to de-federalize my nationstate so much that children dont even receive the same education as others. thats bound to create mass intellectual disparity in my nation, like the U.S. today.

Sorry I accidentally messed up. Previously I intended to build embassies between regions held by my puppets but accidentally using this account instead.

I've abolished police, prisons, and the judicial system, yet crime is still "totally unknown."

Now it's a Left-wing Utopia.

Are any socialists here also socially conservative? Can socialists be socially conservative?

CPGB-ML (UK), PML-RC (Spain), PRCF (France) are the most "conservative" communist parties in the west. I wouldnt call them really conservative but many western leftists say they are. They just focus on class struggle, are anti-IDPOL, and rejects some progressive views rooted in post-modernist philosophy in the name of materialism.

Also in France there's a trotskist communist party called Workers' Struggles that wants to ban hijabs and they're a bit obsessed with islam like the far-right.

Communists being "Socially progressive" is just mandatory for the new left kind.

I think we need the old left back tho, new left destroyed the left. Just my opinion tho. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Left

Is the only differentiation between the far-right and the old-left to be their beliefs on economic equality and nationalism vs internationalism?

The faction created by The Internationale. I will show everyone when the time comes.

Hi, I'm new to the region. Are there any weird rules against endorsing everyone in the region?

Burritobowl

What do you mean by "socially" conservative? I reject that social and economic issues are separate axes anyway.

I guess my question would be, if you're in favor of egalitarian measures in terms of distribution of value created by labor, and worker control of means of production, how could you divorce that from "social" aspects?

Welcome to The Internationale, comrade! As far as I know, there are no such rules here.

Comrades, I need your advice.
Is this flag: https://i.imgur.com/Z7FRAFo.png better than this flag: https://i.imgur.com/Bq2qZw8.png? I know they both are low quality, but they look better when used as flags.

I like the first one a bit more.

Gardneria wrote:Some Greens are socialist. The current Green presidential nominee in the States, for example, or the Left Greens in Iceland. It's far from required, however; socialism is not among the Green movement's "ten key values." Most Greens are probably best classified as social democrats.

"green" social democrats are as fake as other social democrats. Don't trust social democratic fascists. never :D
