With the ghouls in middletown destroyed and the Children of atom forced out on New London, the agreement between the confederacy and Haven had been reached. With some discussion with the mayor the town fully accepted the annexation into the Empire Confederation. New elections were held along with the re-organisation of the Haven's government. To bring it in line with the other larger settlements, as haven has become the 3rd largest settlement in the Confederation, bringing 1700 people with it. Along with the numerous smaller farms and villages scattered along the coast the pop gained raises to 2109.
With the annexation of Haven and the taking of New London, the Long Island sound is now in firm control of the Empire Confederation. Maritime traffic can now pass through unimpeded from any harassers into Empire Ruins, along with the numerous small fishing fleets now working with no fighting breaking out without mediation back in the towns. To ensure no more issues within the fleets a commissar unit was put in the town to end disputes. Along with a platoon sent into Tweed Airport to form an army camp for any future deployments.

The Federation replies saying Federal troops will come in with reinforcements but until then Gravelton forces need to hold their ground. Also the Federation informs Gravelton it intends to send an ultimateum to the Reich to comply with demands for reinbirchment and other demands by Gravelton and the Federaton or Gravelton and the Federation will be in a state of war with the Reich.
With the annexation of Haven, engineers began searching through the area for usable industry. After some discussion with the locals a medium Robco factory was found in the nearby town of Branford. It was still standing though part of the roof had caved in along with a floor near the offices, but the main assembly line was still intact. With some repairs the factory could be put back into production. After searching through the remaining computers the engineers were able to find the spec’s for the Protectron model of robot, which will enter production once the factory is finished.

Chicago Ambassador Fischer walks over to the Angels capital building and demands to see the Master. Fischer: "I demand to see the Master! He hasn't been seen in three years!" (Liberated New Arizona)
Guard: "Certainly. The master is a busy man and the Empire always demands more but i am certain he will be willing to see you. Right this way."
The Guard led Ambassador Fischer through the Capital building and Knocked on the door to the Master's office before opening the Doors and letting the Ambassador in.
Master: "Ah! Good to see you Ambassador! I hope the Empire is treating you well enough! Please, Please have a seat!"
The Master Gestured to the Chair in front of the desk and poured two glasses of Wine setting one before the Ambassador.
Fischer: "Ah your excellency, I'm relieved to see you. I see the rumors of your death are greatly exaggerated. By request of the Führer we would like to create a closer relationship."
Master: "The only death I have received is death of Boredom from the sheer amount of Paperwork that reaches my desk."
The Master finished his wine and Raised his eyebrow.
Master: "I am interested Ambassador. Do tell."

Fischer: "Well since I saw you last the Reich has grown;" he rolls out a map, "We have a stronger navy and are modernizing our military equipment further and our organization. I also and told that your other 70 power armor suits are on their way. The Führer has expressed the desire for a full military alliance I think this would be in your interest as the Federation is always looking to expand their domain. I imagine they wish to even more so as tensions between the Reich and Federation are on the rise."
Master: "Those suits will prove most handy. We too have also grown though I am sure you have heard through the Grapevine here in the Heartland Province."
The Master Scratched his beard.
Master: "I see. I believe a full military alliance would be beneficial to both of us. Wouldn't you Ambassador? I am highly interested in this proposal. Allow me to hear more. Please Continue."
SCAVENGERS OF THE SOUTH BRUNSWICK | SAVANNITE UNION STATE | DECEMBER 2173 AD
Shortly after the taking of the lands of Brunswick the Savannah Military began to sweep it, taking in as many mutants as they could as slaves while scavenging for possible resources and supplies. What they ended up finding was an old water treatment plant near the south end of the Ruins of Brunswick. This would bring great joy to many as this would add more clean water to the Union State's side if repaired. The team would also report a coastal fortification nearby Saint Mary's where several Bofors 40 mm guns were found, only in slight disrepair, nothing a little tinkering couldn't fix hopefully.
The Savannite 1st Division was sent to sweep the western side of the region, marking areas where checkpoints could be added along the routes leading through Jesuptown, Folkston, and Hoboken. Their search came up more inconclusive though with large swaths of forests still around in the region it could be possible to restart a logging and paper industry given time. Their search also found several dozen mutant runaways, the force rounding as many as they could up and taking them back to Savannah for processing. These Mutants would add to the slave base of the Savannite Union State, further advancing the nation into the future.
He was curious as to what the Enclave could be planning, unsure on whether or not he should agree to this.
"Hm, the extra firepower could help. Also on the matter of the radios that would be alright with us. The people would like to know how the lands around us are faring anyhow."
He got out a cigarette, lighting it and taking a smoke for a moment.
"Though I will say the Union State Military is capable of dealing with the Mutants ourselves, we typically round them up and take them in as slave labor."
he snickered to himself for a moment before silencing himself.

Family Fued: Part 5 When the envoy reached Ithica they attracted a lot of attention. Not because of the fancy weapons and armor but because the Diplomat was carrying the Peterson Golden Axe. When the guards saw it one ran to the Peterson estate, the fanciest house in town. The envoy was escorted to the estate where Patriarch Michael was waiting for them, with a look of astonishment. Michael: "Where... how... is this possible?" Guide: "We found..." Michael: "Quiet Scottsdale! I want to hear it from the stranger." Diplomat: "Your excellency I was sent here on behalf of the Reich of New Franken. We were diverted off our path due to a radiation storm and stumbled into a deathclaw nest. My men were able to fight them off. Before we left the town, my guide here, spotted the golden glint of this axe. It was buried under rubble with the skeleton wearing this crest." He shows him this cloth bearing the crest. Michael: "The crest of House Green!" Just then Michael's elderly aunt walked up. Edna: "Nathanial Green!" Michael: "Quiet Aunt Edna!" Edna: "No! Not this time Michael! I have told you for years that the Scottsdales didn't take it. You nor your father believed me and now this proves I was right." Michael sighed: "I wanted to hate the Scotsdales but now how can I? The hatred has run so deep how can it be repaired?" Guide: "Reunite the clans, bring the axe to St. John. The council will show forgiveness, I know it!" Michael: "Perhaps you are right. I will go back with you."
They then returned to St. John and Michael met with the clan council over a few weeks, in the end, they voted to reunite the clans. Ithica was hence abandoned and the Petersons relocated growing St. John from 325 to 765. A few weeks after that the council felt indebted to the Reich and voted to join them.
Fischer: "We would have a complete military alliance. Any military intelligence would be immediately shared between us and both of us would honor calls to war both offensive and defensive."
"that is excessive. we'll just take the 3 for one, and we can decide later if we want to buy more. in addition, do you wish to buy any other products?"
Master: "Agreed Ambassador. I will appoint someone to take my place while I am Visiting your Capital. When should we head out. I am ready as soon as you are. I could use a break from the Monotony of Paperwork anyways."

The two left for Navy Pier taking a Blackhawk to Flin airbase. When they touched down they were greeted by Reichsmarschall Weber. As the blades whirled above them Weber shouted. Weber: "Welcome to the Reich, your excellency. The Führer is looking forward to meeting you." The three were escorted to the convoy of humvees and then taken to New Franken. When they arrived Weber showed him to a large meeting hall where the Führer was waiting for them. Weber: "Mein Führer may I introduce his excellency the Master of the Empire of the Fallen Angels." The Führer: "Welcome to New Franken I trust your journey was pleasant."

The joint cities of El paso and Ciudad Juárez were an important part of the American-Mexico border. It was a major crossing over the Rio Grande, holding both roadway and rails over the border. It would connect the Diktat to a vast network in mexico and america both, bringing incredible benefits for civilian and military prospects. It would allow from quick and easy access further west, and into america should it ever be decided to do so. Not to mention with it’s pre war population and industry, it was sure to have plenty of both now, or at least some that could be repaired.Indeed, it was very important that the Twin cities. But to do that would require a road there. Currently the options were over a hilly desert, with not life for dozens of miles, maybe hundreds. The second, far more viable one was to take the route 45/45D to it. To do this would require setting up forts and outposts along the way to secure it against raiders, mutants, mutated raiders and of course mutated animals. Labor battalions will be sent out along with soldiers to fix up roads , digging trenches and laying sandbags, as the highway, quickly being called the “Long 45” by the soldiers and civilians involved, is prepared for it’s duty.
The Diplomat reaches over to his bag and pulls out a piece of paper.
Legionary Diplomat - "These are just some loose terms that we could negotiate. Being completely honest, we didn't know what to expect meeting you for the first time."
He hands over the piece of paper to the scribe.
The paper starts with the headline "LEGION-RIO GRANDE DIKTAT NEGOTIATIONS"
It lists out some simple and loose points of negotiation:
- Merchants of the respective nations will have complete access to the markets without being taxed or fined in any manner. - Merchants of the respective nations will recieve 25% discounts when bartering and purchasing from civilian goods and services. - Workers of the respective nations will be allowed to farm agriculturally efficient lands with access to clean water supply. - Scavengers of the respective nations will be allowed access to small-scale Pre-War ruins and their findings can be purchased by state-sponsored merchants for double the market price. - The respective nations will not formally declare war on one another nor make any hostile or threatening military movements towards one another and the respective nations shall not advance any hostile and threatening policies, be economic or political. These respective nations hereby abide by a pact of non-aggression.
Master: "Of course! The journey was quite pleasant and the warm reception was most appreciated your Excellency."
The Master Smiled.
Master: "I am happy to finally meet you."
