The Prime Minister has stated he would like to know what the government of Monkelandd thinks of his proposal With the alarming militarization of space by Thalassian Nations Hopal puts forth its proposal to try to stop this militarization in two ways. 1. Ban the use of orbital W.M.D.s, and all other weapons in space. (Defining a weapon as any object made for the purpose to kill, or any object employed by any modern military for the purpose to kill.) 2. Establish a station that checks for any of the banned weapons as stated above using the satellites that employ technology that can detect the shape of a weapon in their database of weapon used by militaries across the world as well as any gunpowder or explosives. If this technology may find anything it will notify the station manned by at least 2 generals in peacetime, and 4 in wartime (more on that later.) The station must then alert the captain and the crew of the spaceship and order them to return to earth if the captain or crew does not respond or comply after three warnings the station reserves the right to shoot down the ship. As stated earlier the station will be manned by at least 2 generals in peacetime and 4 generals in wartime. Each signatory of this treaty will nominate a general who will be in circulation for stationing on this station. The 4 generals in wartime will be from different countries as to avoid bias and loyalty and will each work 12 hour shifts as so that 2 generals will be alert at all times as to again avoid bias and loyalty. Further Enforcement of the Ban Should weapons be found by the station or by other means, the country in which the weapons belong will immediately be put under sanctions by, kicked out of, and be banned from, T.A.N., the T.P.K.O. and will be put under trial by an international war crimes tribunal, charged with crimes against peace and violation of a regional treaty. They will be forced to hand over all military and government documents and records in the form of an ultimatum, if they don't comply after 3 months T.P.K.O. and others reserve the right to go to war. |
