You also gain some influence even if you aren't a WA member, just a very small amount (2 points each day). Influence increases twice daily based off of how many endos you have at that moment. The more influence, the harder it is to be ejected and banned from the region. (the founder can still ban without influence lost though, so don't get cocky if you have the most influence.) |
The Markissios Dưnami of Wymondham1 I'm delighted to announce that I am running for the WA GENSEC on my main account Wymondham |
It appears on mobile for me, try just clicking this link: |
The Grand Duchess of Veaetmar is pleased to endorse Wymondham for World Assembly Secretary-General! |
BACAAAWWWWWKK! (Happy 1 April, Thalassia!) Toerana iii, Nationific, Ayeinc, Veaetmar, and 1 otherZentata |
The Markissios Dưnami of Wymondham1 Heya folks, as some of you may have noticed I am the Thalassia endorsed candidate. I suggest giving my campaign a peruse I have withdrawn from the campaign, please vote for Trans anarcho-communist lesbian catgirls, this dispatch is being kept for posterity My campaign revolves around 4 key promises
Abolish the GA The GA doesn't do anything anyways, so who cares if its gone? It will also save some server space so we can fulfill promise number 4 Delegate Voting A lot of people don't like delegate voting, so in true NationStates style I propose we double down on it. After all, what is more NationStates than taking an idea most people don't like and doing more of it? GCR Delegate Voting We all know that the only relevant places in NS are the GCRs. Therefore, we ought to recognise that by giving their delegates 4 times their endorsement count, they already control the WA anyway, so it wont make that much of a difference. Yorkshire Tea for all We live in tough times, the majority of us are stuck at home with nothing to do but play April fools jokes on a political browser game, shizpost on a political browser game and write shizposting campaigns for a April fools joke on a political browser game. What we all need is [INSERT DEITY OF YOUR CHOICE]'s drink, the drink Britain conquered a quarter of the world for. Tea! I know NationStates only takes the best, so we need the best tea. We need YORKSHIRE TEA!* Therefore, If elected I will ensure that every WA member is sent a 1040 pack of Yorkshire tea bags to keep us going, that is enough to last the average brit a whole day. Vote Wym today for a distinctly average tommorrow! * other brands of tea are available
Step-by-Step Guide to Joining the World Assembly Step 1: Click on your nation's Settings. Step 2: Verify that you've provided a valid e-mail address. Step 3: Click on the World Assembly. Step 4: Click the Apply to Join button. Step 5: You'll be redirected to a page verifying that your World Assembly activation e-mail will be sent. Step 6: Check the e-mail you provided in your Settings for your World Assembly activation e-mail. Step 7: Click on the link found in your World Assembly activation e-mail. Step 8: You'll be redirected to a page to confirm you're joining the World Assembly. Click the Confirm button. Step 9: Congratulations, you're in the World Assembly! Now if you don't mind, please take a minute to endorse Arenado, Thalassia's WA Delegate, to increase the number of votes he can cast in the World Assembly on behalf of the World Assembly nations of Thalassia. Just scroll down to the bottom of his nation page and click the Endorse button. Very Important!!! Remember that you can only have one nation in the World Assembly at a time. It's against NationStates rules to have more than one World Assembly nation at the same time. As long as you use the same e-mail address for all of your nations, the game will prevent you from accidentally joining the World Assembly with more than one nation, so it is highly recommended that you use the same e-mail address for all of your nations! Don't hesitate to let me or any of the Regional Officers know if you have any questions! Thanks to Wymondham for help in putting together this dispatch! Jerkania, Zentata, Arenado, and Sail nation |
Okay, what in the hecking heck happened to the WFE? Liruslau, Ayeinc, Zentata, and Arenado |
As you may or may not be aware yet, all of NationStates is currently holding a vote on who should become the next Secretary-General. What's a Secretary-General, it's an aprils fools joke that doesn't have any powers, but that does give somebody a nice badge and bragging rights. I, Dekks, am running for this position on a Garfieldist platform The Secretary-General election has historically been a great oppurtunity for the NationStates community to show what we are all about, what kind of people we are, and I feel that Dekks is the best candidate to capture the zeitgeist of NationStates today, and that is a bunch of online weirdos who think they're either great heroes or villains, or political masterminds, all while munching doritos, the other half being a bunch of online weirdos, but those who take one joke that was funny once and run it into the ground. Dekks is both kinds of person. As Secretary-General, I will give you this, no less, no more, very clear you see: - Garfield worship will become mandatory, any anti-garfield statements juch as being named Jon or enjoying Mondays will be purged from NationStates. - Garfield says Trans Rights - Jacksfilms is our great prophet and Garfield's voice on this wretched planet. - Posadism is compatible with Garfield, Aliens are canon in the Garfield universe and so are talkin animals, dolphins must be too. If we Destroy capitalism we can destroy Mondays too. - You will get more lasagna than you can dream of. - Anti-Centrism because why not. - The Netherlands must go. My genius strikes again: Garfieldism is not simply an ideology, Garfielidism is beyond ideology in an anti-centrist manner. Garfield is a metaphor for the working class, mondays are a methaphor for fascists, since garfield hates mondays, Jon is the neo-liberal capitalist class, and Odie is the petite bourgeoisie who is being manipulated and opressed by the owner class but still takes their side over that of the workers, which is why garfield kicks odie. Just like neo-liberalism jon arbuckle is nothing but a pathetic incompetent, yet dangerous and harmful entity, just like neo-liberalism jon grows weaker by the day, to be ultimately replaced by either garfield or the much more competent owner class in the form of neo-feudalism, it's human form being Liz, the vetenarian, that's why it's important that we support the working class to end neo-liberalism lest it be replacted by neo-feudalism first. A vote for Garfield is a vote for the working class, a vote for Garfield is a vote for no more mondays, odies and jons, a vote for garfield is a vote for endless lasagna, which obviously means utopian communism. Garfieldism strengthens the leftist voting bloc: I believe that I have already shown myself to be a viable candidate to consitenly remain in the top 25 of votes, which is required to remain relevant in the minor rounds of voting. While other big left-wing candidates mainly get their support from leftist voters my campaign has a more diverse coalition, being attractive to Leftists, memers, casual voters and cat lovers. I hope that with the strengthened support of leftist vote my campaign will attract more attention and will thus be able to create a positive feedback loop to convince memers and casual voters of Garfieldism as the campaign drags on. If I do not get in the top 5 I will endorse the leading leftist candidate, and if I do get in the top 5 but the leftist coalition needs to be united to win then I believe that the leftist candidate with the least amount of votes should either drop out and support the leading leftist candidate or technically not drop out but end their campaign and endorse the leading leftist candidate to make sure that the left keeps the sec-gen position for another 4 years, it is what I will do. I hope that through attracting meme and casual votes we will have a larger coalition then without the support of our lord Garfield. Up until further notice I'm still in it to win it though. page=election please vote here for Dekks. viewtopic.php?f=37&t=482684&p=36898751#p36898751 forum thread. |
