I made this factbook a little while ago for the same purpose: nation=andusre/detail=factbook/id=1157743 All you have to do is make a new factbook and write anything you want, save it and you're done. Please ask if I'm still not articulating it well enough.
The Leader of the Opposition has called for a vote of no confidence, after the Conservatives abandoned the coalition, over the First Minister's unwillingness to adopt a stricter immigration policy. A snap election is imminent.
Several members of the Scandianish Labour Party have called it quits, after the Leader of the Opposition refused to sack the Shadow Minister for Education, over his perceived discriminatory remarks, alongside what they describe as a 'lack of direction' within the top leadership. They have also announced the intention to resign from Congress, to run under the banner of The Independent Club in the following by-elections.
Confirmed. The Scandianish Govt. has lost a vote of no confidence in Congress, but the govt has voluntarily ditched the 14 days given to them to form a new govt., as stipulated in the Fixed Congressional Terms Act, 2018, in favour of giving the citizens a vote. Hence, the House of Plebs has been dissolved and elections are to occur. The by-elections triggered by the resignations of several Labour MPs will instead become fresh elections.
7 MPs from the Conservative Party have just resigned, over their opposition towards leader, Edward Disraeli's hard stance against immigration and what they criticised as a 'dictatorship in disguise', in reference his leadership style. Rumours have spread, indicating that they may decide to join the Labour defectors as The Independent Club.
Btw I just wanted to point out that I believe I've found a flaw in the constitution, it states on article 3, section 1:
"The Judicial Branch will be composed of the High Court, which itself will be composed of three justices: the chief justice and two associate justices."
And then in the same article, section 1, subsection 1:
" One of the justices will be chosen by the Prime Minister to be the Chief Justice."
The constitution itself only defines how the Chief Justice is chosen, and makes no reference as to how the associate justices should be chosen.
We had left this section out when drafting the Constitution because we were thinking about how justices could be appointed. Now, it looks likely that they will be nominated by the PM (or maybe by the president) and approved by the Senate. The constitution has not yet been ratified, and will not be until Congress takes its seat(s), therefore changes are still... acceptable, for lack of better word. Thank you for your vigilance, though. It is appreciated.
