Good and Gentle God,
we pray in gratitude for our mothers and for all the women of theory who have joined with you in the wonder of bringing forth new life.
You who became human through a woman, grant to all mothers the courage they need to face the uncertain future that life with children always brings.
Give them the strength to live and to be loved in return, not perfectly, but humanly.
Give them the faithful support of husband, family and friends as they care for the physical and spiritual growth of their children.
Give them joy and delight in their children to sustain them through the trials of motherhood.
Most of all, give them the wisdom to turn to you for help when they need it most.
Amen.

A prayer for the murdered children.

God of love and life,
you gave these children to us as our sons and daughters. Give us now the assurance
that though they have passed from our sight,
they have not passed from your care.
Draw near to us in our sadness,
bring blessing out of grief,
and help us in our tears and pain
to know you are standing alongside us
and to experience your love and healing;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

With great joy we introduce our newest bishop, Bishop Charles, of Cretoia-Slrathria. He has been a great asset to the VRCC as our parish priest and as an evangelist. We're certain that he will continue to distinguish himself.

Ahhhh, I don't see the squares, but I think I understand what you mean. It's actually text in a different font

Such as that on, "Today is the Secondday (Monday) of the Twelfth Week in Ordinary Time (II)." I guess it just doesn't render in yours?
