Made by the Campaign of Minimark for World Assembly Delegate

About the Candidate

Minimark first came into the Regional spotlight in June 2019, due to his adiment protest against the Speakership of Soviet Melonia, due to the fact that Melon ia, a nation with close ties to Soviet Melonia, was holding the Delegacy and therefore had control over two of the three most important government positions. He then legally fought the illegitimacy of the election of Soviet Melonia, and ran in a Speaker Special Election. He was elected to the Speakership, when he called a Charter Convention. He was made President of the Convention and then Author of the Charter. For the next 3 months, he authored the Charter, and led to its passing. He then began his speakership, in which he passed the Regional Peace Act in order to keep Roleplay stable. Then he was re-elected in November of 2019, after which he resigned for illegally using a nation he has now sworn off, Soup De Tat, in voting, even though he used them to vote for his opponent. He apologized and withdrew from public life for a bit.

Then in February, during the influx of new nations demanding who had unfairly changed Role Play, Minimark led the opposition to these groups. However as RP reached a stalemate, he withdrew from the Region in order for the progressives to attempt their view at Roleplay, an action he justified as the progressives deserving a shot. However when Progressive Region Name collapsed, he came back and was made RARC Moderator, in which he authored the new RP rules. He also is an active member of the ACSC, running RNPS, RNHL, and a new boxing league in the fall. Going back to history, he ran and won Elections Official, when in RP, his nation was controlled by the Third State and launched a nuclear weapon so he was impeached and removed. He came back, and took over an inactive RARC when he began the implementation of Regional Economy and reforming the committee. He did not run for Moderator re-election given a month long legal battle with Speaker Soviet Melonia II. He still remains a hard worker of the RARC, and was appointed NIC moderator and is current Press Secretary.

Policies of the Candidate

1. For all embassies, we will now need a treaty (with specific ones with Regions directly related to Region Name as an exception). These treaties must include either combined Roleplay, dual citizenship, or some government relations that allow new nations into our Region.

2. We will form consulates with larger Regions to form discussion between our Regions, and begin to advertise our Region somewhat in major Regions.

3. Forming an Alliance with the Warzone Federation and making us a safe-haven for defenders, while paying recompense for our crimes in Warzone Africa.

4. Forming an Alliance with Artificial Solar System, the Defender Region to clarify Region Name is for Defenders and possibly send some support. Also, it creates a channel for us to symbollically conquer our old enemies without getting the shroud of Raider.

5. Creating More Diplomats and using Def. Not as a hub for them.

6. Using Telegram bots to send Recruitment telegrams.

7. Creating a spot for the Delegate on the RAC to help organize recruitment.

8. Reaching out to Melon ia and holding an official confrence to help resolve bad blood between the Region and himself.

9. Dissolving the DFRC and creating an Advisory Board with trusted nations, including my opponent, on Foriegn Affairs moves.

10. Remaining absent from Roleplay and acting as a force to stop Roleplay when it becomes toxic, and using the Peace Committee to work out issues.

Speeches of the Candidate

Minimark Campaign Launch Speech
June 13th, 2020
Leadership. Leadership is important. Leadership builds great people when good, and crushes people when bad. We are coming off of one of the most extensive periods of leadership in Regional History. Since last August Mundane has led us, throughout the entirety of the new Charter era. Mundane is quite an accomplished candidate, leading us through tough times, but has he brought us to new heights? We are still not very recognized on a greater stage, not that involved in the World Assembly, and sturggling to return from the RP Crisis. In fact, what got us out of the crises? Action. Hard work from the RARC got us out of the depths of the end of RP. Hard work from the ACSC continues to help lead RP. But how come the RARC didnt do these things in previous moderatorships? Because they needed leadership. When I returned to the Region, I provided leadership. I lead the RARC and made them work hard. I continue to lead them and make tough decisions. I continue, in the ACSC, to make hard decisions and hold people accountable, like my ally Mundane. Mundane has led us through some tough times, but it is now time for new prospertiy. When I ran in February, I promised a new prosperity. I promised more work with outside Regions, more development of RP, and more unity. After I lost is when the RP Crisis reached a fever pitch and things collapsed. Mundane led us through the crisis, and provided the encouragement to keep us together. However I believe with his help, I led us out of the crisis. I can lead Region Name to new heights. We need to end this slump, this era of low activity. I believe economy will spur us into a new era. Economy an idea I spearheaded with help from others. I have proven to be a true leader, and believe I can be one in a greater sense. That is why I am here to announce my candidacy for World Assembly Delegate.

Thank you for reminding me. I have had a busy few weeks and when I check NationStates, I only check the RMB. It might be helpful if someone consistently posts on the RMB to remind people that there is a vote happening, especially for bills, which can suddenly pop up out of nowhere.
