Was this the outcome you got when you answered for having genetically modified children? |

No, I implemented better psychiatric practices before sending kids to detention centers. When they say headlines in the new papers, sometimes it’s super scary how accurate they dumb down policies to widely digestible trash lol. |
Oh, I green lighted the freedom to genetically modify children...like Gatica... |

In case some people have missed it, there is an interesting forum post 'Is it morally correct to dislike ones parents for creation?' currently ongoing
|
I vetoed that one. My chief concern would be a homogeneous gene pool. Not that I’m against GMO production but would still like to have evolution work itself out |
Some people would rather not be in the world and may blame their parents for their lot in life. The idea that the child has to consider a “correct morality” when blaming them is hard to get my head around. |
I used to be against it. But since society continues to make social welfare absent, I started to view it as some sort of relief. Don't get me wrong, I do believe in evolutionary progress but society tells the poor to birth a disabled child with no assistance, or make the poor poor with generations of limited intellect from limited education. |

*sails into port* Hello, we hope you don't mind a solitary traveler :) Just making our way through NS, on the lookout for regions that seem interesting. |
Welcome ! |
Glad to have your congregation ashore! Don't mind the future stowaways on the Ark Collegium, it will most likely be the center of attention for most of the regions' residence. Also I do hope that the Ark Infernal is properly maintained (fed?), most nations have strict animal protection laws. |
Thank you for your welcome! I took the opportunity, while logged into this nation, to put some more work into the factbooks, so I was present to receive your message. Of course, any and all are welcome aboard the arks. Stowaways are just refugees by another name :P As for the Infernal, it was a gift from another region we passed through, conjured by one of the generous residents of the place who enjoyed designing such machines. We don't precisely know what to do with the thing, or what it's purpose could be, or even how to maintain it! You may rest assured, though, that any resemblance to a living creature is purely aesthetic. Sunrise Trail and Shanlix |

The most recent report indicates that we don't have brand new nations joining for some time, and the total number of nations is also declining :-( |
That’s true. We’ve had as many as 340 nations due to When a recruitment drive stops, nations disappear in droves. New people join to see what NationStates is like, and 28 days later tombstones start popping up. If anyone has the wherewithal and inclination to recruit, let’s discuss it. |

Hadn't heard this one before, actually. Gave me a laugh, thanks :) The higher it gets, the fewer |
I don't have any desire for recruiting, rather like things as they are now. But not opposed to it either. I liked the marathon joke as well :-) |
Maybe we can post a discussion board about Philosophers, and what we usually are as a group belief wise, as well what our membership likes to discuss in a daily basis? |
