As of recently in the dark days of of the end of January where the organization had seen severe backlash and where the Founder, Noble titans had effectively left the organization in taking retirement and where Callista has departed LDR only hours after joining, was there a sight of hope in the comings of future of February which saw a record six regions of different cultures, systems of governance and organization and ideology joined together in the common goal of small UCR cooperation and solidarity with Calefacta Aquas Piscinae, Odrya, Alvarez, Pax Britannia, Noneuropean Union and The Eternal Order join LDR. This brought the population of the organization to more than four hundred and a voting power of over seventy which is the sort of power small UCR’s when United can affect the World Assembly with all regions, with the obvious exception of Emmeria, following accordingly the alignment of the organization on SC Proposals at vote with visible solidarity within a democratic approach of within the State Council as the SC Institution of LDR.

The External Affairs Commission as led by Premier Commissioner, Freedomanica shall still continue to persevere in the exposure of the organization’s exposure within the NS sphere and continue to approach prospective regions with the opportunity for their recognition to be seen and their community recognized in a bigger multi-cultural environment for all to see.

REPRESENTATIVE ELECTIONS UNDERWAY

Near the end of March, saw LDR host Representative/Delegate Elections in Trovons and Aesica of which is currently underway with many residents putting their candidacies on the polls of regions for their intent on running of which saw five prospective candidates for Aesica and two for Trovons with debates currently underway of which has seen minimal activity, however, is expected to be rectified accordingly by the ballot of which is to be released within advance by the Central Electoral Board as the official electioneering body of the organization.

This will see Representatives elected to join the Chamber of Representatives as the organization’s lower house of the bicameral National Assembly of whom have the sole right of initiative (propose laws) and vote on them as well and shall be expected to serve within this position for four months. Pundits are definitely expecting a huge voter turnout in the elections of who they want to represent their region.

STATE COUNCIL HOSTS A PERSPECTIVES SESSION

This month also is currently seeing the State Council, the organization’s SC and future directional Institution, recently open its doors and allowed for SC bloc voting to commence with many Member Regions aligning to all recommendations at vote of which saw extremely great solidarity and unity. But, regardless, the State Council also currently hosts its first Session on the direction of the future of LDR. The session is expected to end on the 4th of March and opened its doors on the first with questions raised by currently presiding chair, Freedomanica such as to the organization’s reach on expanding their perspective on potential Member Regions or downsizing, the democratization of the Institutions or more government representation in the balancing of such, form it’s own judicial body and leave the Interregional Court of Justice and other topics were brought to the table. State Councillors were encouraged to converse in an open forum on their thoughts on such matters and of their opinions on the future of LDR and we can only await to see what they think.

Well then look no further! The Internal Affairs Commission shall require experienced lore crafters and cartographers to get our RP hopeful ready for all LDR citizens to enjoy! We are currently on the early basics of getting an RP setup and Alesina needs all the help she can get on making this project become a daring reality!

We are currently thinking a fictional map where nations are free to create their own nation-based lore and background on stories that tell us the perspective of their own nations in showing the true diversity of The League of Defensive Regions.
