Anna sighed as she instead opted to hold Sophie close to her as they walked inside, Anna simply looking around in a sense of awe at the scene before her. She wasn't used to what surrounded her but she didn't let it get to her, even as the man she accidentally bumped into insulted her as he walked off. Anna simply smiled as she said her apartment is a mess. "I don't mind that." Anna said, her voice soft and warm. As the guy bumped into her Anna was a bit offended but understood his hatred of her. She represented everything that man probably hated, if it made him feel better to hate her then so be it. Anna couldn't help but smile at Sophie as she hugged her, hugging her back as they walked to the room. "Aw its alright Sophie I'm quite used to it." She said with a laugh as they entered. Anna kissed her girlfriend on the forehead as she walked past and looked around. "also don't worry, just being with you is all I need." Anna said with her warm smile still present. She had to admit the place was a bit of a mess but not bad enough for Anna to find it unbearable, besides this was her girlfriend. She would be fine as long as she was with her. Anna looked over to the university books and gaming console, seeing the console collecting dust. Anna couldn't help but snicker a little as she imagined her girlfriend going ballistic after someone beating her out in a game. Anna looked over to Sophie as she spoke. "Oh you don't need to cook Sophie, also your apartment is fine by me." Anna continued to beam at Sophie, not wanting her to feel like she had to everything for Anna. Anna walked over to Sophie and hugged her again. "I can always cook!" Anna said with a smile. She wasn't the greatest at cooking but she wasn't terrible either, she was merely average, which was good considering most rich kids like her probably didn't have any skills whatsoever. |

The Systems Alliance of Ventus Prime Galactic City, Szel The city was bustling, as it normally did at this time of night. The many buildings and speeders racing across the city lit it up like a Christmas tree. However, nothing stood out more than the Galactic City Opera House. The building, which had been around for almost fifty years, had been renovated recently and was a popular site for the elite and a favorite for Chancellor Shadow. However, it was currently attracting less favorable company. A man was sitting outside the building, close but far enough away to not attract the attention of the Security Forces. He had been sitting there for what had been hours, but as people began leaving the building, his slack posture suddenly stiffened. It wasn’t long before the most important on Szel came out, flanked by his security detail. They were looking around but didn’t seem to be paying any attention to the man. That’s when he made his move. As he got closer, he drew a pistol and suddenly pointed it towards the chancellor. Only then did someone notice, but it was too late. “For the Fatherland! For Kunkenga!” The man suddenly fired the gun and the laser managed to hit the side of the chancellor’s head, causing him to slump immediately. The man was immediately shot but he did not care. What he to be done, was done. “Get him to a hospital, immediately!” one of the guards yelled. He checked for a pulse but found none. It may already have been too late. Vice Chancellor Building Lysithea was laying in bed, staring up at the ceiling. “Something on your mind?” She looked over and saw Wilmhar laying next to her. She smiled slightly. Their relationship wasn’t known to the public, nor to anyone else for that matter, though it had been going on for the past couple months. “There are always a lot of things on my mind,” she replied simply. “Ah yes, the Vice Chancellor still at work, even while she’s being-” Lysithea threw a pillow at him. “No, even I couldn’t concentrate with that going on. And by the by, your Department should be busy as well.” Wilmhar sighed as he laid his head on top of her chest. “We’ve looked into every detail we could find of Kunkenga. Apparently the Frellorians are not a fan of them either. Turf war, to put it simply. They’ve already agreed to help if we do decide to go to war.” “And the others?” “Hard to say, though considering a New sistoniaian ship was attacked as well, I doubt they wouldn’t want to get involved. Honestly, it seems as soon as we got involved with Earth’s nations, everything went sideways.” “Well, look at it this way, if we come out victorious we can-” She was suddenly cut off as her commlink went off. “I have to get it...” “Fine...” Lysithea smirked as she reached over and grabbed it. “This is Snow.” Her eyes suddenly widened as she sat up. “What!? How did this happen!? I...yes I understand, I’ll be there shortly.” She suddenly hung out as a haunted look filled her face. “Lysithea, what is it?” “The Supreme Chancellor has just been shot outside the Opera House. He’s dead...” Idiocarasia, Cymiopolis, The sakura nippon, North italian union, and 1 otherFrellor |

The Systems Alliance of Ventus Prime Galactic City Tribune TRAGEDY IN THE CAPITAL: SUPREME CHANCELLOR SHOT DEAD The city, as well as the rest of the Republic is in shock this morning as reports have come in, saying the chancellor has been killed. The incident took place last night outside the Galactic City Opera House. The culprit, who still has yet to be identified, was shot soon after, though witnesses recall him shouting “For the Fatherland! For Kunkenga!” The chancellor was then shot in the head and killed almost immediately. Funeral processions will take place within the next couple of days. Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor Snow, who will be sworn in as Supreme Chancellor later today, will also give a speech to the people. |
Official message from the Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs His Royal Majesty with the rest of the Royal family and Nobles on behalf of all the Government and Nation of North Italy offer the deepest condolences to our ally Ventus Prime for the death of Supreme Chancellor Shadow. We offer our help through military and police to hunt down the Kunkengan that did this. We also ask the nation of Kunkenga to explain and justify the reasons behind such deprecable act that could undermine the already unstable peace in the European continent. |
From the plane they could see Kyoto, it was rather larger than it previously was back in the 21st century. Hosting a population 6x more than 2015. The land was full of concrete and buildings were larger than before, however, a lot of these buildings have not been renovated after WW3 and there had been a few shanty towns developed in the outskirts of Kyoto, this was in due mostly because of past events that happened around the late 19th century to 21st century. The Japan's stagnating Economy that lasted for more than a century, known as the Lost Century where for the first time from $5.4 Trillion USD to 4 Trillion USD in 1995 to 1998 and the Economy started to stagnate and falter due to this event that was caused by the Japanese asset price bubble's collapse. This continued on for more than a Century though GDP had risen during WW3 in the 2nd Russo-Japanese War. Which had led to a bit of economic recovery, it however eventually collapsed as the Japanese GDP faltered after the war and the Collapse of Major Countries which then led to Japanese isolationism continuing for almost a century until recently it had opened its borders. The Plane lands in Kansai International Airport. The sky was rather cloudy as this could be a fortelling that rain was about to trinkle down on a cold October day. The plane then stops where a line of soldiers of the IJA are lined up in formation, a few of them holding the Imperial Sakura Flag of Japan. A red carpet had also been laid cutting between this line of troops and it led all the way down to a black limousine. At the end of the red carpet was the Minister of Public Safety Yano Shizuka who was incharge of the National Public Safety Commission. |
From Her Heavenly Majesty, Kiyomi I - Tue, 17 Oct 2147 Dear Vice Chancellor Snow,
Unfortunately, Japan and her people do not wish to get involved in another war in Europe, we may perhaps send some aid or divisions though we will not focus our entire armies upon the European theater. I hope you recognition that Japan's Imperial Inari Force (IIF) relies on 21st century tech compared to the more effective 22nd century tech Europe and other flourishing countries have developed during their time after WW3. Japan and her followers wish good health upon your Republic and hopefully decades and possibly centuries of tranquility after this event and forcomming events. Sincerely, |
((Depends on what you are capitalizing upon, if you are going to make a bobbleheads of Chancellor Shadow getting shot by the Kunkenga Nationalist, then yeah, it would be immoral to do that. . .)) |
Momo stepped out of the plane, her perfect feet hitting the ground first. She looked around. Her mouth open in awe at the nation she had been born in. She adjusted her eyeglass slightly. "Wow.....its....beautiful. I wonder what has become of my Mito." She muttered quietly. Erwin stepped off next, embracing his wife. Their foreign relations ministress Yukari Akiyama accompanied them as well. Erwin walked them forward to Minister Shizuka. He bowed reverently as was tradition in his own nation. "Greetings. I am Emperor Erwin Zenzefer III. My wife Empress Momo Kawashima and Foreign Ministress Yukari Akiyama. We are pleased to meet you. My wife here has been quite excited to come here. She was born here in Mito." |
The Systems Alliance of Ventus Prime Message from the Office of the Supreme Chancellor “What happened last night has no doubt left us all in shock. A man being killed in cold blood is a cowardly act, but we cannot let this moment tarnish his memory. “I first met Shadow at the end of the war six years ago. He presented me with the Medal of Valor and told me I had done the Republic proud. I mentioned to him I was interested in joining politics. He smiled at me and told me that we should keep in touch, giving me a wink. Little did I know a few days later he would contact me and ask for me to become his new Vice Chancellor “I also want to personally thank our allies for their heartfelt comments. It’s unfortunate Shadow wasn’t able to meet all of you but I know for a fact you would’ve enjoyed his company. As Supreme Chancellor, I want everyone to know this: we will get to the bottom of this. Whoever is truly responsible will pay dearly and if need be, military force will be used. The Republic has always been tested but has always persevered and this moment will be no different. We will do it in Chancellor Shadow’s memory, because more than anyone he loved democracy, and he loved the Republic.” Scherzinger, The sakura nippon, and Frellor |
Good day roleplayers. As of June 14th, it is now October, 2147 in the roleplaying world of the New West Indies. Tragedy struck the Galactic Republic of Ventus Prime, as the nation has suffered the Death of a leader. Chancellor Shadow was assassinated by a Kunkagan radical bent on shaking Ventus Prime. It is presumed Vice-Chancellor Snow will take his place. Rest in Peace, Chancellor Shadow. Ventus Prime, Cymiopolis, and Frellor |
The Systems Alliance of Ventus Prime My dearest friend Empress Kiyomi, At times like this I wish we lived closer to one another. Still, it’s good to hear from you. Shadow said he was eager to meet you too, since I couldn’t stop talking about our meeting. As far as military is concerned, please don’t worry about it. If anything, as a token of our friendship, we’d be willing to support you in any way. Perhaps we should get together sometime when times aren’t so demanding. Your friend, P.S. You know what, we should totally do it. Nubila is nice this time of year and we can bring Raph along too. The inhabitants are mostly Tanukimimis so you wouldn’t feel out of place. (Also we can still keep our meeting going if you want.) |
The Systems Alliance of Ventus Prime That’s Galactic Republic. 😤 |
Greensboro, Piedmont Province, New united carolinas It was a cold and rainy night in Greensboro. Ariana had originally been in the city to attend the final game of the Carolinian Basketball Associate - Women's (CBAW) final game. But much to her shock, she had learned of the death of a friend; a friend who she wanted to get to know a little better before this news struck. Chancellor Shadow of Ventus Prime had been shot in the head by a radical from Kunkenga. Though she had little understanding about the situation between the two nations, the thought of them going this far just to solidify a position was sickening to her. When Ariana was called back to her hotel suite and was given the news by her aids, it felt like an arrow of grief had pierced her heart. She was crying on the couch, her husband desperately trying to console her. Her assistants could only watch in sadness as their leader bawled in a moment of rarely seen vulnerability. To Ariana, a friend of not only her but her entire country was violently ripped away. He had been nothing but kind to the New united carolinas. He didn't deserve to die in such away. Not only did his death upset her, but also the painful reminder of what being a leader of a nation could bring to you. No matter what you did, there would always be someone out there that would despise you; someone so filled with extreme discontent, that they'd be willing to murder you. And that scared Ariana. What if someone wanted her or her family dead? There had to be someone out there who did. And what if they tried anything? All of these thoughts, while previously she had acknowledged, had only just now made their true impact. Damarcus hugged his wife tightly. He was glad his kids were back home, so they wouldn't have to see their mother in such an emotional state. As he held her, he gave a hand motion, indicating that the assistants should go into the other room to let him deal with this on her own. Ariana never handled death well. No words had to be said; Damarcus understood all of her feelings just by holding her. To an extent, he felt the same, even if he never got to speak much with the Chancellor himself. Though he most certainly worried about what would happen if somebody wanted to take their anger out on Ariana. He immediately suppressed that thought, however. He figured that the news was already spreading throughout the country. The death of a crucial ally was nothing to withhold from the public. And sure enough, he'd find he was right. Ariana suddenly gripped his clothing and burrowed her head into his chest, crying even louder. That was the sign that more morbid thoughts had entered her head. It pained him to see. But all he could do was stay with her during this hard time. The Republic of the New United Carolinas is in mourning today, as we remember the life of Chancellor Shadow. Our grief cannot be expressed in enough words. We lost a great ally to not just our country, but to our citizens. We offer our many condolences, as well as our hearts. The Chancellor, despite his namesake, was a kind, charismatic leader who'd do anything for Ventus Prime and her allies. The people could not have been luckier to have him. In respect to the fallen, on the day of his funeral, all flags will be flown half-mast, and a memorial will be held at the Embassy of Ventus Prime in New Raleigh. Ariana Thompson is more than willing to travel to Ventus Prime and attend the funeral. Once again, we'd like to reiterate that our hearts go out to the nation. We hope that the transition of power will be smooth, and his funeral peaceful. Let us remember him not only for what his death stood for, but what his life stood for. |
The Empire would like to take this opportunity to send its deepest condolences to the Galactic Republic and to the now Supreme Chancellor Snow. The gravity of the situation presented to the Ventus people is surely heavy, as is the emotional weight carried by his death. While we in the Empire never met or knew the former Supreme Chancellor, we know that, based on where Ventus Prime is in today's world, he was a natural leader, a hero to the people, and an example to us all. This echoes our Empire's own woes when we lost Erwin I. We already viewed the nation of Kunkenga in a dark like and in a stern and wholeheartedly disapproving fashion, but we would like it make it public that the Empire denounces the evil deeds of this nation and would like to petition their removal from the list of civilised nations. This action offends all who believe in respecting the sovereignty and legitimacy of nations and their governments, and this is no different. We would like to enact Article IV of the Scherzo-Ventus treaty, signed but two weeks ago which states "If in a time of conflict the need arises for assistance, the signatories of this treaty may do so without the obligation of directly declaring war on the belligerent nation, so long as the support given does not make it clear of the goals of the supporting nation". With this, and the power granted to me as the acting Monarch of Scherzinger (Erwin and Momo are away making a visit that Momo deserves) I wish to activate this treaty's article IV. Additionally, I have been given the express permission of Emperor Erwin III to begin allowing the Ventus military to train with our seraph class fighters, as well as make use of the illustrious confines and amenities of High Charity II The Empire wishes you nothing but the best, and hopes that this death only strengthens the ties that the Galactic Republic and the Empire share. Because while our governments and ideals dont always match, our love for humanity and support of our friends does. Kommandant Maho Nishizumi |
