It will tell you everything I want to do in the next 6 months and who I'm trusting to be my Secretaries. I thank them for accepting. Together we can continue the road together. I was the 2nd Secretary General of the New West Indies, where my main focus was stability and transition. We went from a low activity and standard region, to a region with diverse members, all with different ideas. Things got creative and where necessary, much more serious. We grew in numbers, lost a few, and grew bigger again.
I knew my knowledge in what should happen in transitioning was really limited, so I chose wisely as to who my Secretaries should be. No one could've been better choice than my Secretary of Administration Karteria. Old and new nations saw what he has accomplished. As my Secretary of Administration, he was able to show he could become the next Secretary General. The region has truly reached greatness, and I'm committed to keep that going.

But you probably wanna know what I'm going to do next and who my Secretaries will be. So here ya go. Feel free to tell me what else you think I should do.
As election day is approaching (Sunday 14!) and more tickets at appearing, I take this opportunity to (once more) link my platform and campaign video, so you can all get the gist of what a vote for Celestiam actually means.
Ever since a Foreign Head of State on a state visit to the NWI committed a bit of a diplomatic gaffe and asked Karteria if I was his heir, back in November 2019, people have been asking me if I would be running for Secretary-General one day. I did not know, so I sat there, and I watched. I watched as this Region grew past the 100 nations bar, I watched as its roleplay revived, the broadcasting sector exploded, the Karteria administration concluded a successful first term and got re-elected. I watched as initiatives started, some succeeding, some failing. I watched as newcomers arrived, people left, and the region continued its path towards a bright future. I watched, wrote about it in a few Monthly Updates, and kept watching. What I ended up seeing filled me with joy.
I saw in this Region one thing that makes it truly unique, the Crown Jewel of the New West Indies: its community. You. You who are reading this platform, and everyone else. I saw you as you warmly welcomed our newcomers, made them feel at home, and showed them our region. I saw you as you held each other's hands, exchanging kind words and restoring faith in humanity for those who felt down. I saw you empathise, I saw you roleplay, I saw you imagine and create. Few regions have such a loveable and admirable community like this one, and I thank every New West Indian for being...who you are.
I am running for Secretary-General because I want to conserve and grow this community. As a Moderator and a Prosecutor, I witnessed first hand that freedom from toxicity and a comfortable environment for all come at a time cost: without active shielding from toxicity, nothing is stopping a region to fall into this abyss. I am ready to ensure this as Karteria and Achipel have done for the last year. This is a community where initiatives are made, and they must be encouraged, enabled, and championed. I have seen my initiatives be welcomed by an open administration, and other initiatives deserve the same treatment. This is a community where we rely on each other and see each other as more than nations or Discord personas, and that is something that must be conserved, and to which new people deserve to be introduced.
I do not promise you that I am Karteria's heir, as that President once said. Nor do I promise you that I am the best new West Indian to have ever lived, or that I am more fit to become Secretary-General than anyone else. What I, however, can promise is that this ticket has a team, a vision, ideas, and plans that amount to signing up for 6 more months of stability and prosperity for our Region. I can promise that we will achieve the feat of maintaining stability, while continually serving the New West Indies, allowing it to grow to its full potential. I can promise that we are not gone, the New West Indies is alive and kicking, and will still be a strong, wonderful, and prosperous region by Christmas of this year.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy is famous for having asked Americans to think not of what their country can do for them, but what they can do for their country. As election day will approach, I invite you to ask the exact opposite question. By your existence, activity, and fantastic personalities, you are already doing a lot for the region. Ask what it can, and should, do for you. This is the question the next few thousand words will, hopefully, answer.

When considering this ticket, it is not just one individual you are considering, but an entire Cabinet to lead our Region in the right direction. With more authority being devolved to Secretaries under this Administration, it is expedient that the members who will be partaking in this as Secretaries be introduced to you all.
New united carolinas is a regional expert at getting things done. As an Administrative Assistant, Secretary of Administration, and Director of the Roleplay Committee, they have shown the leadership and initiative skills the Department of Administration, and the Secretariat as a whole, will be needing. They are the perfect link between roleplay and government resource keeping. They have experience, the Order of Service, and unmatched dedication. Their impressive prior services to the region along with their buoyant personality and character traits will, without a shadow of a doubt, keep making New United Carolinas an excellent Secretary of Administration, and a gamechanger this term.
Cymiopolis is a bright mind and a Cabinet veteran, somebody capable of carrying this ticket's very ambitious Internal Affairs promises. As the longest-serving Secretary in NWI history, they bring to the table the experience some other parts of this ticket lack. Having run flag contests before, they are someone who has a history of actively running and promoting other's cultural initiatives. They are also one of the region's most gifted artists and vexillologists, and there are truly very few things Cymio is incapable of. They'll make for a polyvalent and competent Secretary of Internal Affairs.
That's me, Celestiam. I arrived last September, in the first half of Karteria's first term, and have done everything to know more about it. I became Director of the Press Corps and provided the Region with a mix of actual news and satire through Faux News. Keeping myself and others informed of everything going on was my job, and I know I can call upon this experience as SecGen. I also became the Region's Attorney, constantly ensuring I have a grasp on the laws of this Region. I never served as a Secretary, but have had some insight thanks to those two Government jobs, that I held continuously for the past 10 months.
Funky Goats is a totally new face to Regional Politics, and has been here since the Conifer Merger. That's right, they are a former Coniferan, having seen the Indies both from the perspective of a foreigner and that of a citizen. That, plus their indisputable charisma, puns, and image that led to a host of goat emojis invading our Discord server make the reason why they'll be an excellent Secretary of Foreign Affairs self-explanatory. Funky Goats is an active and unavoidable person that represents the ambitious drive this ticket wants to give Foreign Policy.
North italian union is our favourite Pizza Master, an icon of the Crusade against food heresy. But they are also a level headed, scientifically minded, a rational thinker who will bring to the Department of Defense and Information activity, methodology, and courage to tackle the dangers that exist outside our borders and make sure they do not harm us. North Italian Union is the former President Pro Tempore having served alongside Reno Sheriffs Department and is a Cabinet first timer with some experience of how the laws, institution, community, and security of the New West Indies work. They'll make a superb addition to this team, and the New West Indies' Security.

As we come out of a year of remarkable stability and a government that took a lot upon itself, it is easy to forget the challenges and dangers that can await our region. The recent founder decree is a painful reminder that our safe haven is not to be taken for granted. If the Government once had the role of totally running the New West Indies, so many of these functions have been adopted by courageous private citizens. You might be tempted not to vote at all, or believe this whole election is quite useless. But it is important to remember that the Government still has a role to play: that of creating and maintaining the environment in which our community can strive. Balancing intervention and leaving place for initiative, and providing the best possible Umwelt for our community to continue being one of the most wholesome and rewarding places to be on Nationstates.
This month is Pride Month, and I am proud of the diversity of the New West Indies. The diversity of genders, orientations, races, political opinions, artistic styles...our region is great because it is a tolerant and welcoming place for all, whether they arrived here a few weeks ago or two years back, after a telegram, a forum search, being a Coniferan Remnant, or pure chance. It needs to stay this way. It needs to continue being a source of comfort, a safe space, a cool hangout, a place to make new friends and strengthen existing bonds. It needs to be all that, and be rewarding to you. Your Region owes you all of this, and this ticket will hold up its part of this offer. That, my friends, is our promise.

The Republic’s primary goal during the Kapteyn War was to liberate the civilizations from the Confederacy but their secondary goal was to help support what would eventually become a coalition government and that would include having the people know how to defend themselves. During the Battle of Nubila, hundreds of former slaves were liberated and those that wanted to fight were soon drafted into the Republic Army. One particular group was nicknamed the “Night Stalkers.”
At the time, one of the Republic’s best sharpshooters, Sinon Asada, was picked to train and lead what would become a legendary force. Due to limited resources, only a few of the twenty natives were able to train with a rifle. Fortunately, she and a select few were able to raid a CIC armory, finding bolt-action and semi-automatic weapons, which were rarely seen in Ventus Prime at that point.
In a mere few weeks the Night Stalkers began raids behind enemy lines, usually lightening the load while the main army cleaned up the rest. Once Nubila had been liberated, the Night Stalkers did not stop there. They would play a part in almost every planetary campaign in the war and in the end, they were finally given the recognition they deserved and awarded medals for their bravery and sacrifice. This would ultimately be the first step to strengthen Ventuan-Kapteyn relations.

Sinon Asada was a former sniper of the Republic Army, serving in the Kapteyn War from 2138-2141. Shortly after the war ended, Asada left the military and decided to become a mercenary, mostly involved in assassinations or hit jobs.
Upon enlisting in the military in 2136, she was quickly noted as scoring the highest in her marksman examinations. While friendly, she kept mostly to herself, only having a few friends, most notably Lysithea Snow, starfighter pilot and future Vice Chancellor. Her legacy would be remembered by many, especially from those in the Kapteyn System, who said “she was one of the strongest they had ever encountered.”
Nowadays, she is hard to find, though occasionally she winds up in a bar on Szel or a neighboring planet. She’s said to be more sociable but people, especially those intoxicated at said bar, know not to try any funny business.
The Davao conference Day1 The states of the Philippines (except the kingdom states) sent a representative to Davao currently unther communist control where they will meet until they unit the Philippines they establish six states the biggest one is held by a democracy in western north western and east Luzon the second biggest state was the Muslim state held the island of Palawan and the western region of Mindanao then two communist state a hardline communist in northern Cagayan/northern Luzon a more moderate communist state held east Mindanao and south visayas And the Catholic Church a radical religious state in south Luzon they all agreed to group all the kingdom states in to one state so they have two vote.
Day2 Two legislations where submitted and past one legislation guaranteed right to any religion past by the Muslim states it was a 5-2 vote. The other legislation past by the republic and the moderate communist it guaranteed right of all race and classes the vote was 6-1.the kingdom states in eastern Luzon joined the republic as constitutional monarchies there where 6 kingdoms the republic now had 6 kings/Queens and two votes "it was a power play" quieted hard line communist leader Dante Salirano.
Day3 The church state was found ignoring legislation 1 and in prison Protestants Muslims and forcing them to convert to Catholicism the Muslim and communist states impose trade imbargo the republic denounce the acts of the communist and the Muslims an act was submitted and past for the Muslim and communist state in the south to invade the catholic state the Catholic states cannot vote on this act it was 4-2 they shall invade on day 4.
Day4 The Muslim and the communist ask the republic for military access but they declined which was a violation of act 1 and then the republic invaded the communist in the north the Philippine civil war had begun

Day 1-30 The Philippine republic invaded the position of communist of Luzon in northwestern Luzon the communist where push to the mountains the tried to land in Samar and Mindoro but the one going to Mindoro was intercepted and destroyed at the island of marinduque and the fleet going to Samar was swept away and destroyed by a storm the collision counter attacked and landed in batangas.
Day 31-60 The republic was able to stop the coalition forces from batangas at lipa taal and north of San Juan they where also successfull in invading the communist state in the north but stoping at laoag to resupply but also failed to capture the city of Santiago the coalition was able to land in sorogon city bulusan juban gubat and bulan city cutting the church's control over the area.
Day 61-90 The church state capital Naga was occupied by the coalition forces the church collapse and fell the republic occupied the rest of the northern communist state the leaders of this state left the state and went to Hong Kong the coalition and the republic get ready for what could be the deciding battle of this war at calauag.
Day 91-120 The forces in calauag was about half of the republic's army the other half was in the north the republic's battle plan was to focus on the north thinking the coalition would do the same most of the coalition's forces was at calauag both sides signed a ceasefire on the 92nd day for 20 day to get all citizens out of calauag and the surrounding area on the 112th day the ceasefire was no longer in affect the battle started midnight the republic struck first using artillery bombers and an siren to signal the end of the ceasefire two bases's equipment where blown to smithereens the coalition retreated out of the city the republic hope that this act would put them and the coalition on equal footing.
Day 121-143 the republic took over the now empty and ghost town like city the quietness broke when the solders that occupied the city heard shouting gun fire and bombs from behind the coalition destroyed the republics head quarters then they went to the now destroyed head quarters expecting an attack from the sea like they did at southern Luzon but then they hear on there radios they fought it was a surviver from head quarters but then they said "surprise mother f*€kers" and then gun shots from the east its a full on attack the bombing of there head quarters was a distraction the republic's forces was rooted and destroyed and now the coalition marched on Manila and the rest of Luzon.
We are now at a point where we’ve made great strides, in our government, roleplay, and our international standing with the NS community. Starting tomorrow, you will all get to decide what happens next for the NWI. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fancy video to further my platform, but I do have a way with words.
The most important thing I can say is vote, let your voice be heard. That right there is what keeps the region going. Who you choose is up to you, but I hope you’ll be willing to give our administration a chance. We are really excited for the possibilities of what we can make better for this region. The story of the Night Stalkers differs depending on who’s telling it. To the natives, it was a message of hope that anyone can overcome any challenge. To those in the army, it was an unlikely band of former slaves that would become an elite fighting force. And to those in the CIC, they would instill fear and a message that they could not get away with their crimes forever. The planet of Brigid, a planet completely covered in ice and rich full of metal and ore, was the Night Stalkers’ next target.
Brigid - Year 2139
The blacked out Raider-class corvette came out of hyperspace, immediately cloaking to avoid detection from the nearby CIC fleet. The planet itself was a large white ball with no visible signs of vegetation. The area they were about to descend into looked to be in the middle of a storm, which gave them further cover.
The storm proved to be stronger than expected, causing the ship to rock around as it settled on a sturdy, snowy cliff. Once the ship landed, the landing ramp descended and a figure covered in a large thick jacket and goggles came out, checking the nearby area. The snow was falling hard and visibility was small, but the area seemed to be clear. She then lifted up her hand and waved forward and suddenly five other figures similarly clothed followed her.
The leader was Sinon Asada, twenty years old and First Lieutenant in the Republic Army. She was known by many as the best shot in the entire army and she was the leader of this band of civilians turned soldiers. Many of them came from Nubila but in the course of a year, more from other planets joined and suddenly the Night Stalkers became their own version of a special forces team.
Sinon, her trusted rifle slung on her shoulder, was looking through a pair of thermobinoculars. No nearby heat signatures could be detected. “Boss, it appears we’re about three klicks from the mining facility.” Her second-in-command Reyla, a neko girl from Nubila, came up to her.
The term “Boss” was more a nickname than a title, though it meant her team respected her more than anything. “The facility is located in a valley, which gives us an advantage. Let’s get a move on before the storm subsides, and make sure to keep your thermals on, who knows what could be out there.”
Her team nodded and moved out. They varied from snipers to demolition to shock troopers, but each of them had a role to play and Sinon knew how to use them. Unfortunately, this was the first time many of them had to walk through snow. At least they had made sure to wear proper footwear.
The journey was slow and the cold and snow weren’t helping. It normally got down to -60 degrees on Brigid at night, which could kill anyone in a matter of hours.
“Sinon, I’m picking up a small heat signature up ahead at one o’clock,” one of the girls, a Tanukimimi named Chihiro said.
Sinon grabbed her rifle and pulled up her goggles to peer through the thermal scope she attached to it. The signature was small and round and it appeared to be floating in the air. “Sentry drone,” she said. “Means we’re getting close.”
“I don’t see any others nearby,” Reyla said. “If we take it out that’ll give us an opening.”
“How far out do its sensors go?” Chihiro asked.
“They normally can detect things within about two hundred meters. But with this storm, it’s optics are severely limited,” Reyla replied. “Even so, it’s better to take them out from afar, though from this distance...”
She then noticed Sinon had gone prone, still aiming through her scope. “Boss, you can’t be serious. I know you’re good but at this distance and in this weather.”
“That only applies to shooting bullets,” Sinon said as she kept her eye on the target. “Now everyone shut up.” Her finger slowly hovered over the trigger as she watched the sentry move rather slowly. She couldn’t take too long, in case the droid decided to move on to somewhere else. It was now or never.
She took a deep breath, holding it in as she pulled the trigger. The gun fired, recoiling slightly. She saw a flash of light in the distance as the drone went down.
Reyla shook her head. “You never cease to amaze us, Boss.”
“No time to celebrate, they’ll be sending out a recon team soon enough,” Sinon said as she got up. The others nodded as they continued their way towards the facility.

Kiyomi: "I see, well it is very common for people to lose their faith after a traumatic event like many of our people have after our kingdoms had fallen and they became slaves. . ." she struggles to finish the sentence, she inhales and exhales slowly,
Kiyomi: "Well feelings are fragile Raphtalia-sama. Don't try to hurt them by criticizing one of the past," she says teasing her a bit, "Though to the past we look for lessons from our ancestors and those who came before us." she explains.
Kiyomi: "Please, have a seat, General Reiko, may you please open up the room so that there can be a bit of fresh air in the room. As well as some of the lovely smell from the Imperial Garden." she asks.
Reiko: "Will do your Heavenly Majesty," the Kitsunemimi wearing a dark green jacket and dark blue pants, she has a noticeable scar by slashing through her face and the iris of her eyes are both of different color. She opens the shoji and lets the fresh air and smell from the Imperial Garden into the living room of the Palace. The gardens were full of lush colors with flowers and trees filling up the view of the garden.
Kiyomi: "May you also get us some tea as well for our guests as well as me and our ministers, thank you," she asked one of her servants who bows and immediately walks outside.
Kiyomi: "Now, I am unsure if you have came here for site seeing with the Empress or to speak to me which both are rather quite lovely and rare for any common person of Japan to meet the Empress of course," she says with a slight giggle. As she sat on the Zaisu with her legs under the kotatsu which was warm from the inside, "Enjoy the heat from the inside of the kotatsu, it is warm when you put your legs under it. I sometimes sleep because of it," she says.
“Thank you Your Majesty,” Lysithea said as she and Raphtalia took a seat. She seemed to be looking for sugar but found none. “We’ve made it our mission to befriend the nations of Earth, which is odd to say since we of course originated from Earth. This gives us an opportunity to understand the different cultures as well as giving us the chance to perhaps find trade. With that said, we would be interested in showing you what we can offer.”

I stared at her slightly taken back. The cold was already to enter my body, and I was shivering, very lightly so. However, my brain still decided to go through with the idea of covering her even if it made me cold. As an attempt to make my body temperature slightly warmer, I held onto her. It felt pleasant, and her arms felt soft and nice.
"Nah, it's fine. I-I'm not even that cold, anyway. Don't worry about me." I stammered out, badly attempting to hide my cold. Sure, her body felt nice, but it was still cold and, despite the screams of my brain to put on a jacket, I didn't do so, making me even colder.
It was when we entered the ground floor that I couldn't handle it anymore and put my jacket back, curling up my arms so I could get a bit of warmth. I looked at her, lightly smiling. "I... I hope you don't mind that my apartment is a mess."
We would go on to walk to the elevator, I was determined to make this a good night for her even with how pitifully small my apartment was and how disorganized it was. Almost out of nowhere, some guy came in and bumped into Anna. It would be a few seconds until hopefully everything was resolved and we could go to my apartment.
But it seemed like that dude was an asshole, calling Anna a 'Richie' (whatever the hell that is) and just walking away. I hugged her, trying to console her. "Hey, hey... uh... that dude is probably alone and sad, that's why he decided to take his anger out on you. Hey, Anna. Come with me. I'll try to make being in a tiny apartment fun!" I grabbed her hand and promptly went up the elevator.
My room was not as disorganized as I made it out to be, but it was still kind of disorganized. Books were piled up on the table, and my childhood plushies that I brought over from New Spiedska were still in my couch. The videogame console, one which was very important for me, was sitting in, acquiring more dust. I used to be one of the best players in my country, but now, that I have this stupid university stuff I have to deal with, probably I am just trash now, compared to everyone else.
"So, h-hey... this is my apartment... sorry if it's messy..." I said to her. "Are you hungry? I could make some pancakes."

Invitation to Kyoto Imperial Palace - Tue, 10th Oct 2147
The Empress of Japan, Kiyomi I has sent an invitation to Scherzinger formally inviting the delegates and/or leadership to her Imperial Palace in Kyoto. The reason if needed were to hopefully gain contacts as well as friendships in Europe, with one of the regional powers in southeastern parts Europe, or mostly within the historical and cultural parts of the Balkan Peninsula. Preparations had been made and the National Public Safety Commission has taken care of security. It will be October and will be a bit cold, the trees will wither away in as their bright and colorful leafs fall onto the ground.
They will be designated to land in Kansai International Airport which is a 1 hour drive to Kyoto though it is the nearest and largest airport that can facilitate large aircrafts coming from Europe in the Kansai Region. Though if the delegates and/or leadership have any other preferred modes of transportation they wish to use when traveling to Japan, then they may do utilize it. Just give a heads up to the Imperial Government what transportaion that they may utilize.

Momo nearly cried when she read the invitation. It had been years since she had even seen Japan, much less stepped back on it. While happy with her husband and their lands, she couldn't help but miss her homeland, where she came from. 20 years ago, in a little town called Mito, in Ibaraki Prefecture, Momo was born. For 15 years she had been there, before she found Erwin, and they married. The mere thought of having the opportunity to go back overwhelmed her. Even if it was just to visit.
Momo told Erwin the news. "Adi Adi. Look, the Sakuran Empire wishes for us to visit them. My homeland, we could go back." Momo, a normally eloquent and calm spoke in an excited manner and her sentences weren't quite as eloquent as they should be. Erwin read the message and agreed. 'Well dear, pack a bag." Momo hugged her husband.
While her excitement overwhelmed her, in the back of her mind she was aware that her dear Mito may not exist. Additionally, she knew that it may not hold any importance in Sakuran society, since before becoming Empress she was mainly a nobody. Momo begin to pack a bag with everything she would require for the trip. Toothbrush, perfume, makeup, change of clothes, she began thinking about shoes, where she came to an impasss. "Heels or flats heels or flats..." she thought. Unable to decide, she packed her heels and continued to wear her flats. She neatly pressed her uniform and polished her numerous medals. With bags packed and things squared away, Momo and Erwin ceremoniously gave their power temporarily to Haruna and Maho respectively, and left promptly at noon Scherzinger time.
Responding to the message, Erwin replied "we will of course accept your mode of transportation, and we will use plane. We will arrive soon. Words can not explain the Excitement the Empress has to return to her homeland and visit once again."
Momo sat silently in the plane, looking at her pink painted fingernails, painted the same pink as Mito's cherry blossom trees. She wondered how much her home province had changed, or if it was still there. Regardless she was happy that she finally would see Japan after 5 long years away from her. A genuine smile graced Momo's gorgeous face as the plane flew ever closer to the home islands
