Oh. I realized my mistake, sorry about that. I’m running a custom pathfinder campaign where two of the locations are sea of shadows and hall of winded whispers, so I got confused.

Warhammer is… painful. It is really fun and exciting, but it is excruciatingly difficult to learn every individual mechanic, and then on top of that not getting immediately crushed in your first few playthroughs.

Never played Warhammer or 40k. I've played plenty of 40k non-table top and read the books...sometimes.

I started table top a long time ago With Chainmail (Before DnD Basic) and 15mm Napoleonic (Empire)

Ramlethal do you just send a template to every new nation, or do you target specific nations?

Also Wolfist Germany Choronn itself is not part of the WA, the new state I just created will do that once it is out of Whispering Winds.

Virtually every nation, but I try to not send it to nations that I think are obviously puppet nations of another player since those are the least likely to join us here.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. I like the simplistic one I’m currently using, but maybe in the future.

The core source material is about $40-$100 USD depending on where you shop, and then then there’s the emotional cost if you have a narration oriented gm like mine. The description of civilian deaths… it shouldn’t be too hard if you’re good at other war games like HOI4, but role playing an army can be complicated.

Warhammer fantasy rpg is more gritty more RP less rulebook. old 1st and second additions are on pdf now and the player communtity writes more stuff than companies ever did.
