Official Dispatch From the Office of Foreign Relations of the FRCP, Nikita Kazakov The Federal Republic can only express their distaste at the seemingly innocuous act made by the legislature of the Principality of Demonos, since they interpret it, not just with suspicion but with certain knowledge in mind, as a foul and cowardly way to undermine the sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Cossack Peoples. The Federal Republic serves as a bastion not only of Cossack interests but as part of a coalition to protect regional interests via the Southern Compact. Because of our circumstances, including but not limited to foreign war parties seeking battle in nearby waters, the Federal Republic must make certain sacrifices for the populace to ensure the security of the Federal Republic, as well as its people. As such, your offer of asylum for the citizenry of the Federal Republic only serves to subvert our war effort, which is in line and actively defending our belief in national sovereignty. Demonos claims that it is a protector of freedoms-- however, any civilized country must scoff at such a revulsive word such as the "Ministry of Reproduction." For every cowardly Cossack that runs to you is another neutered by your programs and politics. Also, Demonos claims that its borders are open to all-- should they accede to some demands. However, upon closer inspection of these demands, one would see that this is more than unadulterated charity. If a healthy, fighting-age Cossack were to migrate to their benevolent sheltering wings, they would be subjected to mandatory military service; taking a healthy fighter from a country in the throes of war to a country that has not known for some time the devastation war brings. Together, these points help underline the vile agenda of Demonos-- one in line with the odious Imperial powers that be, to help bring down the Compact and bring ruin upon the Cossack Peoples. It is because of the perceived motivations of Demonos that the Federal Republic blocks any travel, enforced by the Cossack Border Patrol, to that appalling country, and condemns any the mentioned legislature and any further acts against the well-being of the Southern Compact. In addition, if the Federal Republic deems the the Principality of Demonos more than just a nuisance, it is prepared to use all force necessary to secure Cossack interests, particularly with a much more destructive war on its doorstep. Your prickly, petty words will mean nothing when the Federal Republic surpasses you and takes its place in the world stage as a superpower, once the foreign invaders are beaten back by the Southern Compact. The World Assembly is also recognized by the FRCP as a Lilliputian attempt to bring the world together, but now is a puppet of a fraction of its membership. Still Lilliputian, but controlled nonetheless. The FRCP only tends to its membership for the fruit baskets and the banter. And if the representatives of Demonos find the label from that fragile and flighty organization so incriminating, look to your own, "Police State"! And to address your rebuttals, begin with the thought that if a "police state", as you're called by the WA, manages a "Ministry of Reproduction", how easy it would be to enforce any act by that bureau. Surely, with a country owning a comparable WA corruption classification to our own were to, for a lack of better words, be corrupt, that this Ministry could easily be used to oppress? Another thought one would have was how audacious the claims made by the Principality are compared to how little the Principality knows of Cossack society. In addition, the Southern Compact does not need your signature to exist. It has proved its existence and sovereignty by fire in the Cossack Strait. In the same vein, the Federal Republic is not obliged to abide by any international laws it is not a signatory to or present at the signing of. In fact, such legislation is unwise to assume that all within the area it defines should follow it. By detailing that all nations in the faraway X area shouldn't place trade sanctions on one another does not guarantee that they would cease all embargoes. Yes, it would be polite of them to go and sign the treaty and be chummy, but for a nation whose [ex: fishing industry] is suffering from a malicious, noncompliant opponent [downriver] could suffer by a treaty the noncompliant did not sign nor recognize. So why should the victim? As previously stated, the FRCP is hardly worried about any consequences from the World Assembly. The diminutive words stated will only be proven when your attempt to work a condemnation, or, even more unlikely, some action, through the slow gears of the WA. The Federal Republic is a large nation, harvesting much more resources than you, keeping cities and countryside maintained, and proud of its increased human development index so soon in Principle Chairman Vadimir Bezukhov's administration. Recently, the nation has stood its ground against more powerful actors than you, resulting in the current war. Specifically, the Battle of the Strait showed the FRCP win in open combat against The Imperium of Leonism, what could be said is a global superpower. As such, we can only say that paranoia is warranted in our perspective, supposed delusions of grandeur wholly substantiated, and intimidation-- only intimidation in your eyes, merely stern words in ours. Granted, we would just as easily, although rather undiplomatically said, piss off, if you simply, again, pissed off with this legislation.
