| Rhodesian War | 23rd May, 2022 | 23:22 local time | Location: Rhodesia |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One warm african night, Sornian stealth bombers would locate targets in the wast, barren, landscape. A total of 50 stealth bombers together with 10 fighter escorts would be sent to destroy designated positions and targets, which include:

*Military Facilities,
*Mines,
*factories.

After the initial strikes, Rhodesian supply lines would be next. As Sornian attack aircraft fly into eney territory, subsequently striking the supply lines. The supply lines would be damaged, preventing the arrival of some of the equipment/goods. Multiple Rhodesian casualties would be recorded after Sornian troops enter through the coast, escorted by a vast fleet of naval vessels. 1.2 million sornian troops, 500 tanks, 5 drones, 15 attack helicopters, 100 IFVs and 50 MLRSs would enter enemy territory while being escorted by: 35 submarines, 5 destroyers, 10 frigates, 1 carrier and 5 minelayers. The carrier would launch it's vast fleet of SSR MK.4 aircraft, letting them wreak havoc on the enemy fortifications. The Sornians would pretty easily be able to take the enemies key locations, destroying multiple naval vessels with the vast fleet of submarines and freshly planted mines. Some of the Rhodesian ports would also be severely damaged. As Rhodesia deploys it's own tanks and troops, Sornian infantry, IFVs and MBTs would prove superior to their Rhodesian counterpart. The heavy rhodesian tanks prove inferior to Sornian ones, as advanced Sornian MBTs pick Rhodesian tanks off, one by one. The Sornians set up ambushes, launch rocket strikes and call in air support more often than their Rhodesian counterpart, Sornian rockets would directly hit some of the Rhodesian tanks while also damaging other. The damaged enemy vehicles would be hit by Sornian grenades, thrown by brave soldiers of Sorna. The Rhodesian tankers would abandon their damaged tanks in large quantities, as they thought their disabled tanks would have no chance against the superior Sornian armour. Sornian soldiers would use their ATGMs to great affect, destroying multiple enemy vehicles while disabling even more. While the Sornian soldiers fought on the ground, a different battle was being waged in the air. While Sornian pilots fought their Rhodesian counterparts, Sornian drones striked Rhodesian Fortifications, tanks and infantry. This would cause panic among the troops and lead to extreme panic. Sornian attack helicopters would be able to destroy a low quantity of tanks, while the Rhodesian infantry hid from the Helicopters.

Kyūin nodded slowly and pondered Sakamai's announcement with intrigue. Hoshi smiled at their humbled stares and civil gestures. He could tell that Majun meant well and followed his gaze to the sterling HNS Ssitori (씨鳥), his ship. Ripples of light undulated against the midship while the dock's lighting spruced the otherwise sleek bow, kindled in the lamps' incandescent orange tint.
"I see. Fankuwo. That’s quite the ways south of Sōryodō… across the Gulf of Orientalis. Yes, of course," Hoshi mused. "It must be humid."
Kyūin sighed and pushed his peaked cap up slightly with brisk precision. He shifted to Sakamai and rubbed his chin quizzically as if he were appreciating a clean shave.
"You say you're here to learn? ... Well, learn about what exactly?" He asked carefully. "Hanguk-Nippon has much to offer in terms of, well, everything that one would want to learn about... Us naval staff are by no means educators. We know nothing."
He remained silent for a few seconds.
"Don't take that literally," Gyōju commented fretfully, his ego snubbed. He almost cracked a smile. Almost.

OOC: He didn't even answer your question, I'm dumb.

"Humid in its season and dry in its season." But the islands were, on average, hot and arid. Therefore, "I can feel the temperature difference here in the north."

As if something heavy was tied to his wrists, Sakamai didn't even make a slight gesture with his hand as he explained. It was specified in his mission that he had to be transparent so that the matter of trust should only be up to the Hanguk-Nipponese, so he spoke all that he had to speak. "We've been assigned a mission to learn as much as we can. This... View," the contrasting destroyers at the port—he impressed this by pointing his chin at the Segarak—, "Is one of the pieces of evidence that our society is falling behind. We realise that in isolation, our society became stagnant with very little progress to be seen- Even the crew of the Segarak," Sakamai exclaimed with a considerable rise in his tone. "They believed you had lasers to vaporise them off the surface of the sea, and our confidence leans only on one reliable pillar: a thermonuclear bomb." There was a note of absurdity in the commodore's voice as if trying to separate his opinions from the crew's. After a moment's pause, he returned to the Hanguk-Nipponese officers, his head turning first than the torso.

"The time given us is one month. The Emperor points at nothing specific, therefore, all aspects of foreign society must be learnt. What we have learnt, we will pick to improve our society."

Shiwi RP Post #1 | 05/23/22 | The Next Step Up #1
Working hard at his desk, Kwesi Owusu writes up a report for an engineering task he just finished. Although Owusu does love his job, he's starting to find it daft. Long hours at desk won't excite anyone. Yet, this is the only job that suits him right now. Having a Masters does have its perks.

Although being an aerospace engineer with the Evinea Armed Forces (EAF) is fun at times, Owusu seeks more. He thrives to travel, see the world, and explore different political situations around the world. That's why he had a double degree in Aerospace Engineering and Political Science. Unfortuantely, the political science degree has never come into much use yet. That's why slowly but surely, Owusu abandoned his dream to become a diplomat. "Diplomacy would have been such an exciting field" Owusu reflects. "But instead, I'm stuck at this desk writing up menial reports on lame engineering tasks". Owusu still maintains his diplomatic skills even if he abandoned his dream.

However, as one dream died, another flourished. Ever since he had become an aerospace engineer with the EAF, he's quickly worked on multiple large projects such as designing the army's new tanks and the navy's elite battleships. Yet, he hasn't lead a major project and has been waiting very long for the chance. Seemingly however, just like the diplomacy dream, this dream was fading out of sight too.

While still typing up the report, he was surprised when a messenger asked for his presence in the main conference room. Owusu was surprised and more keen on finishing his report, and reluctantly went along with the messenger. "I wonder what I'm going to be dragged into this time".

Stepping into the room, already seated were major generals of the and lead project managers of the EAF. At the head of the table was the Secretary of Defense, James Yacouba, looking cool and collected.

James Yacouba then addressed Owusu. "Owusu, we have a project for you."

OOC: Alright, back to it.

Hoshi folded his arms and tilted his head to the side slightly. He looked to Kyūin, then back to Sakamai. A tepid seaside breeze passed over their heads.
"That story sounds familiar," Hoshi replied mindfully. "Actually, our country went through a similar process in its history."
He shot a look of approval at Kyūin, who was apparently fixated on the military honors displayed against his black coat as if he were inviting others to take a gander and shrink back. It looked like a walking museum. Hearing Hoshi, he rubbed his nose roughly and regained his senses.
"Er, yes. Hanguk-Nippon has a storied history with foreigners. Our ancestors centuries ago made what our nation is today by learning from what the expansive world outside had to offer," said Kyūin, scratching the back of his head but with his eyes firmly locked on Sakamai. "Hanguk-Nippon opened its doors, you could say. With that single decision, our country became one of the leading states in our known world in terms of finance and international influence..."
      Jong-ro remained silent.
      Reiji nodded and smiled.
"Not so say that such a conditions arise just because a country chooses to open its doors," he chimed in. "But I'd say that it worked out quite well for Hanguk-Nippon. I'm sure you've both seen it for yourself."
He peered at the column of Imperial Navy vessels lined up along the docks, proudly boasting their Hanguk-Nipponese naval jacks. They danced in the wind, capered majestically, waited for the next daybreak to arch over the horizon like a mighty steel-cable bridge. They hoped for some signal that a new chapter was bolting towards them. Still, the flags remained deferential in their unabashed silence. Reiji grinned pompously to himself. He'd slipped into his own little world of quiet strolls through the park at night.
Observing the other officers admire the filed Hatagi banners, Kyūin sighed and tipped his cap to the Fankuwoan duo. A wave of contrition plowed into his intestines. He pursed his lips.
"Well, we might as well get acquainted while we still can now... I'm Tobuk Kyūin, Admiral of the 15th Fleet of the Hanguk-Nipponese Imperial Navy."
Behind Kyūin's abrupt warmth, he pondered this emperor of theirs. The Emperor, as if there was only one. Strange.
Kyūin introduced the others with the same degree of aimiability, although with a slightly less precise descriptions. After all was said, he turned back to the two officers and nodded.
"Now," he glanced at both of them. "If you do plan to stay in Sōryodō for a while, where do you plan to sleep? We don't usually expect foreign military guests to arrive by destroyer."

"Now," he glanced at both of them. "If you do plan to stay in Sōryodō for a while, where do you plan to sleep? We don't usually expect foreign military guests to arrive by destroyer."

The Emperor was portrayed as a very smart and wise individual, not all-knowing but very knowing in the least. Kyūin's words made the picture clearer; the potential of Fankuwo to develop much like Hanguk-Nippon went over his head just like the breeze had grazed his peaked cap. His admiration glanced past that and dwelt upon the Emperor, the cult of personality over a thousand kilometres away showing its effect here as a wider smile on the commodore's face, his rejoicing summed in a single chuckle and the phrase, "The Emperor is wise," in the tone of realisation. Thanks to the Ministry of Explanation and Englightenment, Fankuwoan history books did not detail foreigners other than the picture that the government wanted them to see. Seeing that the pictures weren't the same as the reality he was seeing now, Sakamai only blamed outdated information.

The smile reduced a fair amount when Kyūin started introducing himself and the officers beside him, Sakamai giving each one a silent, slight bow and joined open palms, Majun following behind with a flinch. He returned to Kyūin with an affirmed look, his hands falling to the sides. "Admiral Kyūin. We must take your country as an example. You've experienced this scenario before and rose out of isolation. It is only correct that we follow your steps to achieve the greatness that your people have achieved, the steps you took after you rose out of isolation." He added this, feeling that he needed to elaborate, "Fankuwo's greatness is isolated to the archipelago it sits upon."

Sakamai was not a diplomat; as a military officer, it only made sense to him that a destroyer would be one of the means of transporting him to the rogue outside world safely. "The Segarak must go home and leave us here because its crew can be corrupted," Sakamai explained. "Therefore, the ship is not an option for accommodation. We expect that you would be benevolent enough to provide us accommodation to last these few weeks, whichever place you choose." Majun couldn't do anything but listen to the meaningless babbling that Sakamai, the admiral, and the others were exchanging. His eyes slowly rolling down to the pavement as he was losing interest in the conversation, he walked a few paces inland to direct his full attention to the town. It wasn't what he expected from Sakamai's story of a smart and advanced people; Majun thought he'd see much more than this. Even Kansai appeared more magnificent and prosperous than this town, the only things testifying for Sakamai's story being the destroyers.
