The Grand Anglo State of Kingdom Of Englands Tribune of the People Elections The elections for the Tribune of the People will be held on the 2nd of May 2024. *Proposals must go through a quality assessment to ensure that they are both serious and realistic. This task falls to the Tribune of the People. *The Tribune can call the Supreme Court to determine the constitutionality of a certain regional law. *Once the Tribune approves a proposal for quorum (mind, this doesn't necessarily mean they have to agree with said law), the proposal is put to a referendum. *If the referendum passes a simple 51% majority, the proposal is adopted. *The King and PM reserve the right to veto the law, given just cause. *If the Tribune disagrees with the veto, the region may overturn the veto through a 2/3 supermajority. *As the Tribune of the People, you are the sole legislative official in the region. Incumbent Tribune of the People The Joeanian Republic has served the Maximum two terms, therefore cannot not run. Telegram Kingdom Of Englands if you intend to run. Yours, King KOE. |
The Oppressed Peoples of Xeosia Attia Fellow Gamers I am running for Tribune. As Tribune I will do literally nothing unless metaphorically poked repeatedly with a stick. |
[] "We Will Not Fade Quietly Into The Night" [] Glumira Extraterrestrial Contact Center, North Zonkrel [] Progress continued in the Glumira Extraterrestrial Contact Center as engineers and scientists worked tirelessly for a way to send a distress signal to the rest of the galaxy to plead for assistance in fending off the looming Columbian invasion. It was hoped by the Free Nations that if there was one extraterrestrial nation out there, mathematically there must be multiple others on similar scales of advancement and power, and that potentially convincing one to vouch for their independence would be a big enough bargaining chip to get the Columbians to back off and agree to respecting Varmosan sovereignty. It was thought that this could be done with the Pathfinder-1 probe, however it appeared to only be able to send signals to the Missourians that had originally sent the probe. Hope still remained that there was some kind of backdoor however, that perhaps it could be modified or jailbroken to be able to send out a wide ranging distress signal. One scientist theorized that perhaps jailbreaking the Pathfinder probe to compose the signal and then using a nearby radio telescope array to telegraph the signal to the galaxy would work. Getting to work, the scientists attempted to bypass the systems of the Pathfinder probe and connect it to a nearby radio telescope array. Attempts to interface Missourian and Varmosan technology initially failed, but after examining the probe further, they were able to connect it up enough for any signal produced by the probe to be amplified and then bounced off of the radio telescope array in the general direction of the Core Systems. Using the Pathfinder probe's microphone and holographic capabilities, a scientist representing the Free Nations made his case to the galaxy. "Hello. My name is Irkan Sheinuds. I represent a race of people called the Varmosans, on a planet that has recently come under military threat by a nation we know only as the Columbians." The holographic displays the signal would be received at would show a display of a Varmosan, the planet of Varmosa, it's general location in the galaxy, and a photo of the Columbian fleet in orbit of the planet. "We have been given an ultimatum to submit ourselves to Columbian rule and obey their laws and teachings. If we refuse, we risk full-scale military invasion. We are not a spacefaring peoples. We may even be primitive by your standards. We have just emerged from the bloodiest conflict our world has ever known. Millions are dead, and a dreadful weapon known as the atomic bomb now threatens to divide our people and destroy our world on top of the Columbian threat." Pictures of the Varmosan's Great War would be shown, ending in a rudimentary recording of the atomic bomb being dropped on the Zonkrelan capital. "It is our hope that with this message, we will have reached some other nation who is sympathetic to our cause. We have resolved to not give in to the demands of tyrants and dictators. We will fight for our right to be free, our right to rule ourselves, and our right to live. So long as even a single Varmosan remains, we shall keep up the fight. But we cannot fend them off alone. This may very well be the last dying breath of Varmosans as a free people. But we will not fade silently into the night." And with that, the signal is set to repeat to anyone still listening. |
The Plurinational Empire of Equestria-Atlantia Reviewing the Code This ominous change in policy has ruffled some as they worry Equestria will begin to utilise “previously banned” and experimental methods of warfare. |
The Lock-In Central of Atlas Corporation Terra Hello, World! A-1 was designed to be an ultimate warrior. Not entirely flesh, not entirely metal, she was an amalgamation. Cloned from a perfect soldier, bred from equally perfect soldiers, she had been augmented heavily to far outclass the strongest organics in any way. The elegance and perfection of robotics with the nice exterior and logical thinking of man. Her competition, the other androids from Coalescence were synths. They were A-1, but with the humanity removed so that it may be copied and used for intrigue. A-1 would not be on these missions. Infact, A-1 was to go on her first mission today, serving under the owners of Coalescence: the Atlas Corporation. From what her creators had told her, militants had taken control of a large portion of Atlas' private property, and it was her job to eliminate the militant leaders so the organization would collapse. While internally she believed it may be slightly complex for a test mission, she was proud her creators had such confidence in her. The Warbird flew several miles above the ground, far enough to avoid detection from the primitive rebel missile sites but close enough to see the flames engulfing villages, and the smoke billowing from downed vehicles. Within her, A-1 felt a need to end this conflict, but she assumed this show of force would end the hostility. Once the Warbird had reached the complex, A-1 leapt from the side of the Warbird soaring down to the complex elegantly. She would slam through the roof, her high heels extending to absorb the shock as she landed. "Hello, Ba'athists." She greeted the armed militants, walking over to gently yank an assault rifle from one of their hands. "I am A-1, the representative of the Coalescence Development Association aswell as the Atlas Conglomerate." She would break the rifle in half with her knee, standing tall and proud, declaring "You will surrender, and peace will return to Benin." The rebels clearly did not agree to these terms, several quickly grabbing up arms to remove this counter-revolutionary from their compound. It didn't take a genius to understand there wasn't going to be a peaceful resolution. But then again, had Atlas wanted true peace, they would've sent a delegate, not A-1. The mantis blades quickly unsheathed themselves from within her wrists, charging the first man in front of her, slicing both of his hands off with a single movement. Leaving him to his agony, she sprinted to the next man, impaling him with both blades and cutting perpendicular to split the man in two. A third man had mounted his rifle to a wall, shooting her from cover. A-1 leapt from wall to wall, sliding and avoiding the bullets in the flashiest way conceivable. As the gunman fired his last round, A-1 was now feet from him, and managed to split the round with her blade. Completely defenseless, A-1 removed his head quickly and walked calmly to the stairs, the first man's agonizing screams fading slowly. As she stepped up, disinfectant sprayed from her wrists onto the blades, rinsing the pieces of bone and blood from them. A-1 would retract the blades back into her arms, activating a different module that would put two gatling guns on her arms. She stepped upstairs finally, gunning down anyone and anything in her path with hundreds of 20mm rounds. She stepped slowly towards the doorway to the main command area, crushing the skulls of those who lived. A-1 again retracted her weapons, this time opting to display her hand to hand skills. She opened the door quickly, noticing the poorly hiding rebel leaders quickly. The woman effortlessly crushed the head of the sole bodyguard remaining, stepping over to the leader soaked in the blood of his defenders. She picked him up, broke his arms, and left the other witnesses with a smile. A-1 carried the leader to the now landed Warbird, getting in alongside him to ensure he didn't try to escape or end his own life before he met the Board of Directors face to face. When she arrived back in the Coalescence lab, she was dutifully cleaned of the blood and inspected for damage. Her gatling guns had to be reloaded and her blades had gone dull, but she had slaughtered through an army of rebels unscathed. Her consciousness amounted the bloodshed as a worthy sacrifice to progress mankind, an easy excuse for now. As for the higher ups, they had recorded footage from her own cybernetic eyes, footage that would receive the attention from the IA nations. Atlas could make billions, even trillions perhaps off of these androids. Perfect obedient warriors. As for the synths, they still remained untested, though Coalescence eagerly awaited to see them in action. |

The Federative Soviet Republic of Third Soviet Union Soviet staring at Equestria-Atlantia |
The Deranged Katyusha Imperium of North Goguryeo Hyperborea preparing for big stuff |
The Loyal Estates and Houses of Untecna (Mentions kept on purpose) The Untecnan government would condemn these actions, accusing the Equestrians of considering the use of biological weapons against Untecna, which had already had terrible effects during the last war. |
The Plurinational Empire of Equestria-Atlantia Stares back |
The Plurinational Empire of Equestria-Atlantia The Equestrian government would merely state in a public statement on the matter, |
The Eternal Hegemony of Republic of Callaxium WAR OF THE NEAR CORE PT III - A CRUMBLING FEDERATION "We are hereby ordering the evacuation of the Oren Sector, I repeat-" "GET EVERYONE OUT NOW! THEY JUST KEEP COMING! GO GO G-" "We need immediate reinforcements! I repeat! We need immediate-" System after System had begun to fall to the Hegemony at this point. With the introduction of the Sword of the Stars there was little the Near Core Confederacy could do to really stop the Hegemonic advance as they rampaged through their worlds. Sector after sector fell swifter than the last, the only NCC nation managing to hold on now being the Pesrekanian Empire, already having been the largest and most militarized of the states within the NCC. They knew that the Hegemony would be a tough battle and prepared accordingly, not believing the politicians on Ryx when they said the war would end in a stalemate. Now Ryx was under Hegemonic Control, the Imperator-Aeternus seeing it as a crowning achievement of the war effort. Now Oxora stood as the Capital of the NCC, their remnant fleets remaining safe behind the heavily Pesrekanian Border for now. Over the last year over 40,000 systems fell into the hands of the Hegemony, all the nations within the NCC falling before the might of Thrawn and his forces, all except of course the Pesrekanians. Thrawn knew that this was no ordinary state, the Pesrekanians being a race of heavily militarized beings, war was embedded into them from a young age. Their border was extremely fortified on nearly all fronts, the only thing that could truly break it was a massive strike in one precise area. However, the Hegemony remained distracted with other conflicts and concerns. As their allies in Apollonia collapsed before their eyes they was forced to divert their attention to an extent, allowing for the Pesrekanians to pursue a counterattack and push back into Hegemonic held territory, taking back around 3,000 systems before being pushed back once more. The Hegemony would keep their end of the border fortified as well, steadily increasing the number of men in the region and bringing in more Siege Fleets than ever before. Across the border a total of nearly 20,000,000 men stood firm, the Pesrekanians knowing full well that eventually the Hegemony would get tired of waiting and begin their push. They would have to be ready. Imperator-Aeternus Thrawn would make a statement on the current stalemate with the Pesrekanians, stating the following: "The Pesrekanians seek to continue this ceaseless war, one that they have already lost handily with the occupation of Ryx, the destruction of the Foanis System, and the collapse of the Near Core Confederacy as a whole. They stand alone now, a single force dealing with the combined might of a galactic superpower. Let it be known that this is what happens to those who dare to defy the will of the Hegemony. We will cut you down, letting you bleed out for as long as we need until you regain your senses. Though for the Pesrekanian Empire, that day has long passed, the only thing that will bring justice shall be their complete surrender and absorption into the Hegemonic Sphere. There is no other way." Thrawn's statement would be broadcast across the galaxy, his tone stern and his stance strong as he spoke. He was determined to let the entire galaxy know that the days of disorder were coming to a close. There would be a new order, one order, a Hegemonic Order. It was only a matter of time before he would give the order for troops to begin pushing, his generals had been planning, and his advisors ensuring that information between the Grand War Council and himself was as streamlined as possible. Finally, after months, they would find the most likely location for success, a weak spot in the fortified and "impenetrable" border of the Pesrekanian Empire. A series of systems towards the south of the Empire would provide the perfect opportunity. Thrawn would have scanner drones head out to ensure this was not an attempt to lure the Hegemony into a trap, the scanner drones discovering that there was a cloaked fleet sitting there waiting for something to happen. It was indeed a trap. However, Thrawn did not care about this, ordering several of his Siege Fleets to mass near the Xoren System, where the Cloaked Fleet happened to be, and preparing for action. The Pesrekanians were overjoyed to hear that the Hegemony was amassing exactly where they wanted them to, little did they know that Thrawn knew they had a fleet there. They believed they were about to achieve a major victory in the war, but their generals became somewhat cocky and ordered their ships to move in and counter the fleets before they could do anything in a preemptive strike. Hegemonic Officials received word that the Pesrekanians had opened fire upon their vessels, the news of this making Thrawn smirk as he would, in turn, activate his plan. For the first few minutes, it seemed the Pesrekanian's plan had worked, they had forced some of the bigger Siege Ships to retreat and had done significant damage to the many smaller ones present as well. However, this belief was very quickly dashed as more ships quickly appeared out of thin air. Within a mere instant the Pesrekanians were on the defensive as an overwhelming amount of Hegemonic ships would enter the area, pushing through quickly and beginning a campaign of bombardment against the Pesrekanians. Several hundred thousand Koron Classes would unleash their powerful Ion Canons upon the enemy, forcing some of their vessels to fall back and alert the outer colonies, the time to evacuate has begun. As the fighting continued this would give the Hegemony's ultimate weapon, the Sword of the Stars, to make its appearance in the system. The sight of such a gargantuan piece of military weaponry was enough to put a massive pit in the stomach of the generals and admirals on the scene. However, the remaining Pesrekanians did not give up, vowing to fight down to the very last man. A second push was decided upon to try and shock the Hegemony, this attempt being somewhat successful as they moved forward and managed to deal heavy damage to many of the Koron Classes present at the battle. However, as they sent ships to try and deal with the superweapon at the scene they failed miserably, the machine's defenses quickly turning their ships into nothing but space debris. The lead ships of the remnant NCC fleets at the scene would do what they could to organize things, though it became quickly apparent that the Hegemony was going to win this battle, ordering a full-scale retreat to reinforce their numbers. The Hegemony would use this opportunity to their advantage, moving in and taking the system over fully as they moved on to others. The opening created after this battle would force the Pesrekanians to reconsider their fortress plan as now the Hegemony was intent on surrounding them, they could not let this happen. However, as they tried to reinforce the remnant fleets attacked by the Hegemony multiple large-scale fleets would begin to engage the Pesrekanians on multiple points at the fortified border. This caused resources to be strained to an extent and forced the NCC to begin fighting a war on two fronts. While most of these offenses would be somewhat repelled, a few were successful, giving the Hegemony several points of entry into the Pesrekanian Empire that they wasted no time flooding with troops. The March to Oxora had just begun. (OOC: The Hegemony has taken another 40,000 systems. Only around 12,500 systems remain, all of them belonging to the Pesrekanian Empire. Next post will end the war more than likely) |
The Plurinational Empire of Equestria-Atlantia Sure, what did you have in mind |
The Loyal Estates and Houses of Untecna Irulan herself would clap back at the statement. "The Equestrians have claimed that they, and their benefactors, have chosen some righteous path in their eyes. However, this is not the case. They claim they are defending the 'galactic order'; this is not true. They are trying to use hurtful force to bully up and coming nations into submission, in some crazed grab at power they will never see. We will not stop working to quell the threat by diplomatic means, while remaining resolute in our holdings. They will not stand as victors. They do not scare us. They do not control us. We will guide our own path, towards peace, towards redemption, towards Pano. Those who bully other countries will not find Untecna to be a submissive state by any means. They shall come, and one by one they shall fail, yet we will always offer them redemption. We are not unforgiving cowards. We are not liers. We hold to our word, unlike some folk. Pano wills our existence. We follow the path to his redemption. He shall judge those who wish ill against us. Glory to Untecna." |
