They're replacing the balcony railings in the building where I live, which involves concrete restoration work. It's been weeks of jack hammering, grinding, and sawing and the noise has been horrific. If I play Led Zeppelin loud enough it's not too bad. :)

Argonauts win and clinch first place with 6 games to play. Now 11 - 1, their best start in their 150 year history.

The Toronto Argonauts football team turned 150 years old on October 4th. The organization grew out of the Toronto Argonauts Rowing Club. The rowing club took to playing rugby in the winter to stay in shape for the rowing season 150 years ago, hence the team's motto, 'Pull Together'. The Argonauts are the oldest sports franchise in North America, and will celebrate the anniversary tonight during a game against the Edmonton Elks, with many former players in attendance. Go Argos and may you always Pull Together.

Sadly former owner John Candy will not be in attendance.
