Oh yeah, no system is gonna be perfect, systems like capitalism are extremely flawed and there’s nothing we can do about it until we find a better alternative which won’t happen very soon.

Tbh it's plenty of alternatives, they're just not competitive against capitalist countries. Many socialist countries understood that and are just shifting into controlled capitalism. Exploiting other people is of course economically advantageous and can make you (as a country or as a company) competitive, it's just not right at all.

Do you seriously think world governments actually care about their people?

Imo, socialism could only work in small nations with a small population, it couldn’t work in a country like Canada, the US, or Poland
Viktorias
In all honesty, yes. Not caring at 100% (also not all governments/politicians are the same) but they have to support their popularity and keep at least the bare minimum satisfaction in the population. Not only for democratic countries (since they have to be voted and thus look forward for people support) but also dictatorships/autocracies. If national cohesion is low there will be unrests, revolutions and so on, and presidents/kings/dictators can fall or have their country destroyed by that.

The USA had protests last year.
What did they get in response?
Suppression. That doesn't sound caring to me.

To be fair if they weren’t suppressed it would’ve gotten extremely worse, I’m not saying all the protests were bad but, a lot of them got ugly

Yup, that's exactly what I was meaning.
Because population isn't just one big demographic. You can keep a general satisfaction, but the people of a country are divided by many ideologies, interests and so on. Some of them are interlinked, others are not. Trump administration tought that the general population would have been more satisfied with the suppression of the protests rather than letting them continue. In fact, this is true in most of the states, but not everywhere, a good example is the CHAZ in Seattle, the administration didn't intervened against that.

I disagree with the suppression for the reason that maybe the government could have got off their bums and listened to them and go with negotiating. There was absolutely no need to let it turn into a near civil war.

Fair capitalism isnt Lets say that you help small businesses to grow with subsidies, less red tape and types of corruptions that affects economy, and make your workforce flexible, plus a bit of minimum wage and retirement policies Then it will be a great nation
I agree with you and I would have liked to see the goverment listen to them, but this is our idea that would have satisfied us. Trump (remind that this happened shortly before elections) tought that his supporters and many other people preferred suppression over listening. He lost the election, but 46% of american voters still voted for him, meaning that all those people actually appreciated how the riots were managed. If he didn't suppressed the protests he could have lost many other votes from his previous supporters, along with people who wouldn't vote for him in the first place, losing the elections with a bigger gap.
I've actually been up for a few hours but I realized the past few weeks how much I've been on screens (specifically NS/discord) so yeah Figured I should stay off for a bit xd
