The Teachings of Lemmingtopias

After many hours of deliberations in the candle lit smoking rooms of the Palace of Atlas, the nobles of Atlantis assembled on the steps of the sanctuary of Cleito and formally named The Most Serene Republic of Escavta as the new Archon replacing our sadly cased to exist friend, Bettisia.

Thank you so much! I'll do my hardest to help Atlantis back to it's former glory!

The Assembly and Demos of Madrocea

Congratulations Escavta on your ascension to Archon!

Congratulations to Escavta. I'm sure you'll do a fantastic job in the role.

Hello and good morning Atlantis! How's everyone doing?

The Teachings of Lemmingtopias

To mark the (badly named) 'Fattest Citizens' census, countless well fed politicians, bureaucrats, diplomats and bean counters descended on Atlantis today to persuade us to change our weighs. But who are the Greedy and the Needy?

  • Of the usual suspects, ElinTol and Madrocea straddle the top of the list. More surprisingly, the Tropican Islands comes in at 5th. How does that work?

  • Onyx lives a life of moderation on Page 4.

  • Lemmingtopias, long ago in the heaviest hundred nations in the world, is sharing a no-mayo sandwich with newcomer Escavta on page 5.

  • While South Gabeland and Tarligean have given up food for lent on page 6.

However much or little you eat, make it something special this weekend.

More propaganda.

Hello and good morning Atlantis!

The Fiefdom of ElinTol

Happy Easter all. I just want to say that we are all celebrating Jesus being Risen Again here. Igor in particular is very proud.

[Igor: It hath been a very succethful weekend in thee lab].

The Teachings of Lemmingtopias

Happy Easter/Spring.

On this most auspicious of days, the WA is naming and shaming the most primitive amongst us.

  • Indig0, one of the longest standing members of our happy region, is the most primitive. Actually Indig0 is more than twice as primitive as the runner up. I guess you get more primitive with age?

  • The Tropican Islands has been bombed into page two.

  • Escavta prefers a moderate amount of primitiveness on page four.

  • Tarligean, ElinTol, South Gabeland and Lemmingtopias are busy purging any trace of their animal-based spirit gods on page five.

  • Onyx Front and Madrocea are gloriously tradition-free on page six.

Even if you don't want to be too primitive, try to make things more simple today.

Newer is not always better. Best to not progress just for the sake of progress.

Happy Friday! Hope you all have a great Eclipse Weekend planned.

Of all the fun things to do on a weekend, Al (gorithm) has chosen to list the nations with the largest gambling industry in Atlantis.

FJK Rants & The Tropican Islands are all-in and letting it ride up at the top.

On page two, with their own world-class Vegas-style hotspots and smoky cardrooms, we have Lemmingtopias. Down on page four we have Escavta, South Gabeland and Kaphellonia with their lotteries and cardrooms.

Closing down the Bingo Halls and cracking down on raffles, we have ElinTol, Dunnonia, and Tarligean on Page 5. And down at the bottom with Indig0 and The Holy Jand, we are banning Bingo, holding on to our cash and not wasting it on poor investments.

Have a great weekend all, and don't blow all your cash at the roulette tables!

We're.... back??

The Fiefdom of ElinTol

In the words of Bender B. Rodriguez...

"We're back, baby".

The Most Serene Republic of Escavta

NS is back!!

Well since the Census data seems to be working now I can do us one of our traditional Usual Suspects reports.

So who's got the lowest crime rates after this little apocalypse? Of the Usual Suspects, The Onyx Front practices a zero tolerance policy toward any criminal elements. Justice is fast, sentences are harsh. Also fighting crime on the first page we have South Gabeland earning the silver medal, and The Holy Jand earning the bronze, as well as Dunnonia, Kaphellonia, Escavta, and Lemmingtopias.

Letting the petty crime slide and ignoring jaywalkers on Page 2 we have Madrocea, and Sagelen and Tarligean can be found on Page 3. Watch your back, your pockets, and your purse in ElinTol, and The Tropican Islands, where crime is rampant on Page 5, with the highest crime rates found in Rick Sanchez and Agnoth.

That's all for today's Usual Suspect report. May the Algorithm smile broadly on you and may The Server's wrath be stayed forever...
