I didn't spend too much time dwelling on it, honestly. Was there any pizza better than pepperoni pizza? The answer was no. "Pepperoni all the way." I smiled. "Though I wouldn't mind if you picked what you liked the most. After all, I'm the guest here." I tilted my head slightly to my left as she mentioned the busyness of the pizza place. "Ah! It's fine. Don't worry about it. More time to talk with each other, no?"
After that, we moved to the living room. I looked around, still not being able to wrap my head around the sheer size of this residence. I sat as I looked for a few minutes directly at her, smiling. "I know I've said this a f*ck ton of times, but you're a good friend. And you are cute." I let out a rather cute giggle.
After that, I seemed to stare directly at the ceiling, almost like if I was sleeping with my eyes open. I was really tired, but I was happy because I was with Anna. If I was with her, it was all worth it. I almost slipped into sleep, but I noticed that she was distraught. I immediately darted up; I was ready to comfort her and bring her solace.
I looked at her, confused. "N-No, you didn't make me angry, don't worry about it." I sat next to her and grabbed her arms, as I looked directly at her. "Anything wrong?" My face gave off an extremely preoccupied and worried expression, I was worried about her well-being after all. I was asked my opinion about the whole ordeal, but I really wasn't caught up on Patagonian politics. Hell, I couldn't even vote because I was not a proper resident and just someone here as part of a scholarship.
"Well, err... I don't know. I guess it's fine, but you'd have to watch out because the media is going to try to pressure you or to tear you down." I smiled, and hoped my advice was taken for the best.
