There needs to be something like conscription, but with retail. Like every person has a mandatory 2 years serving their country at Chipotle where they learn not to be an absolute karen. Said draft is also retroactive, with the 60+ boomers not being excused.

I'm completely on board with that. Just two add ons. It should be one year in retail service and another year in teaching. First you learn to deal with kids and then adults that act like kids. And you can't work at some fancy boutique. It's got to be a place where you have a 50% of getting shot at every interaction with a customer.
