Ok. So basically I was making the argument that 1. it is okay for black people to use the generalizations of "I hate all white people" and "All white people are bad" because of centuries of systematic oppression which still exists today, as well as many POC experiencing personal attacks or being assaulted by white people. Obviously not ALL white people are bad and someone who uses this wouldn't hate ALL white people, but the stereotypes and the racism is prevalent enough among white people so that black people need to generalize to feel safe. I also made the same argument, but with women and men instead. I also made the FACTUAL argument that systemic racism still exists in this country, and one of the most common forms of it manifesting itself is through income inequality across racial lines. I repeated the fact that white people usually make about a quarter more money than black people and other POC for the same job and same skill level. These people started saying "well- we've had a black president!!" and started accusing me of anti-white racism (let's just pretend that exists on a mass scale lol) and said that anti-white systemic racism is a thing that exists and happens a lot. It got heated (obviously like wtf-) and the teacher stepped in. The teacher told us to stop. I decided to keep going because I couldn't let it go. She then specifically told me to stop in which I respond with "This is bullish!t!" and got sent to the office. Luckily- it was the end of the day and the principal wasn't available. I'm hoping they will casually forget about this and I get no punishment xD I mean- what was I supposed to expect from conservatives, especially MAGAts? lol
