good thank you, and how are you?

I'm also doing fine and busy with these factbooks.

I'm not opening up for embassies yet. And even if so, the lore needs to be able to fit in the canon well.

Well, considering Nationstates tells me I am a liberal scandinavian Paradise... I don't think I'll be working on the military for a while. Legislation and History...Maybe geography

As for the category you've mentioned, they depend on the main 3 stats shown below it (civil rights, economy, political freedoms).

Thanks, well. i just looked at the three of them... I'm at the lowest ranks in all of them, weaponization being the highest. lol

Why?

For all those asking, this is no ordinary poll. Basically a group of people have decided that there are huge problems with our current forms of government and the only way to fix it is a complete overhaul. I highly suggest you read https://tspforums.xyz/thread-10392.html.

Now, why I oppose it. I’ve tried writing this part several times, I just can’t word it accurately to express my distaste for this current idea. We just recently had a big argument over if the assembly should do away with the office of LC and replace it with offsite appointed moderators. Mind you, they wanted to remove the everyday users ability to choose their local government from them and impose people appointed to control the rmb. In fact the LC and DC are trying to expand how the local council works because of this. https://tspforums.xyz/thread-10385.html

Needless to say, that wasn’t an enjoyable experience. Now we get this call for a Grand Council, to reform and rewrite the Charter. Now some of the backers of the previous position to do away with the LC are pushing this. I find it more then likely that since they couldn’t get it passed as a stand alone, they’ll come gunning for the entire LC structure under the idea of reform without the gameside getting a say at all.

I’d like to think the people proposing this have our best interests at heart, but life has taught me that’s just not a thing. So I have to say I won’t vote yes on them calling a Grand Council with unlimited abilities to change anything and everything.

Do forgive me if I don’t get my idea across. Please feel free to ask me more, or discuss it here on the rmb.

The great council goes against the majority of the democratic values that our government strive themselves on. By instating this, they would be throwing all of this hard work in the bin and disgracing the democratic title given to us. All because a small minority of nations didn't get what they wanted. Further more, majority of them have no involvement in the RMB so they feel that it would be safer to attack us rather then suggest a reform on the forum side. I believe a forum side reform would work much better because the amount of corruption reeking from them is a disgrace to The South Pacific and the people that built it to what it was.

Chat you should know that you have voting rights on LC and the delegate, before [a certain person] suddenly appears and tries to convince you otherwise.
Any proposal attempting to remove LC or the delegate or ''reform'' how they are chosen should concern you. The result of these proposals is less freedom, before [another person] suddenly appears and tries to convince you otherwise.
I'll try to inform you if another proposal to ''reform the LC'' is put to vote, since the last time this was done - it was ignored, passed and then everyone including the Chair was surprised.

As for GC, vote as you wish.

I see you're learning the 10 codes, that's a big 10-4 I'll tell you that much

It's like I was talking to Canada on the LC/DC chat, if LCs no longer become an elected position, they'll just disband the DC after 1 run and that's just plain idiotic, sooner or later we'll have people as LCs that either don't know about the rules and can't do their job, or they'll have an iron fist over TSP which would make TWP look very Leiniant

No, it’s a bit more involved then that. Think of it as the tyranny of the minority vs the majority.

If I had to give a classification to the GC, it'd be this
Civil rights: rare
Economy: developing
Political freedom: excellent

Total classification: "Authoritarian Democracy"

Trivalve wrote:It's just a sad attempt to get more control

I wouldn't be surprised if all the gameside folks got up in arms over this, we'd basically might as well end up with a 1-87
