Today is my little sister's birthday! She turned 21, and I took her out to a lovely dinner and some lazy time. I was really depressed this last week and it's had me off my game - I get that way sometimes, you know how it goes - but I'm really grateful that when I take a look at my life, I have moments that are hard, but a life that's definitely fulfilling. It's good to wake up every morning and be me, and be confident in being myself. Not everyone has that. I'm living my life and living it well! A little introspection can turn even the lowest weeks to a positive turn. :)

I finally finished my math course after 7 years! Also, my cousin's visiting us and we took her around the town. This week's pretty eventful than the rest of the holiday, and I like it <3

My newly turned 9 year old daughter participated in her first 5k race. Training for it has improved her coordination and boosted her confidence. Last night, she was trying out slogans for her friends at school. She came up with 'Your personal best is about being the best person you can be in races and everything else.'

My son and I had a wonderful time zip-lining, camping and rafting in West Virginia and returned home safe and sound!
