Russia isn't fairing well in the war right now I wanted to see them make a swift effort of this war with minimal casualties but now theyre killing people in the streets just because they feel un welcomed.

I got into the top 10 on all except 1 category. BTW love when this happens. I also gave out like 3000 likes one month, wish RMB awards were done in that month (in that same month I got almost 3 average likes per post) In the end, this just proves quantity over quality is superior.

Why can't Ukrainians own Ukraine? It wouldn't make any sense for USA to take Ukraine, and adding Ukraine to Russia would just become Yugoslavia 2.0. Ukrainians are not related to Russians, and haven't been for 1200 years.

You think in just one specific way, that is not how ideology works and one has to think in multiple ways. This also shows in you thinking usa and uk will be safe. There was a time when nobody could question the mighty Spanish Armada. There was a time when sun never set on the British empire. Both fell but worst is yet to come for uk. Similarly, for usa, it is already falling. Democrats resorting to electoral fraud to get elected, can’t even control their own creation, which is now wreaking havoc for the third time I heard. They in their arrogance completely suppressed Trump and imprisoned it’s supporters, some of them without trial, and comically, blame trump for inflation due to Ukraine war.. many many examples. So yes, usa is falling, no one can do anything about it. Sons ratting out parents or in many cases straight up making stories because they are democrats while parents republican.
USA is falling economically, socially, politically and even militarily due to their gender problems and that they have taken on the ancient curse of modern day Afghanistan. That place should never have been invaded. Such is that place that the regime who makes its people most miserable thrives there. Hence, the Islamic kingdoms flourished after they killed off so called Hindu shahi kings.
And even UK is falling
Both these regions are falling and neither you nor those psychopaths running the world can do anything about it. And the country and its leaderships deeds are responsible for it. Russia may be the first to fall though.
Even if their influence is declining, their stability is not even close to being considered questionable. The reason Spain and Britain aren't as powerful anymore is because the world decided that colonization bad.
They ranked right next to each other in the world stability ranking even before the war. Ukraine wasn't even considering joining NATO. It's funny you think that US controls all of the NATO members. All of them are mostly independent from the US, they are more reliant on their neighbours, with the elephant int he room being the military, which is why NATO exists in the first place.

Nope. It was Russia’s decision to invade Ukraine, flat and fully. It’s completely their fault, not the country being invaded.
Let me remind you what a country is. A sovereign entity with control of its people, territories, and resources. Ukraine was that about a month ago.
Russia had no legal right to prevent Ukraine from joining whichever military alliance it wanted, because Ukraine wasn’t a part of Russia.
The point of NATO is a military alliance against the Soviet Union (which doesn’t exist anymore). When the Russian Federation rose, it basically filled the empty mantle its predecessor left behind. And it has nukes. So NATO had a reason to prolong its existence.
Now with this whole Russia incident, NATO is basically vindicated and cleared for its existence: protect our allies from Russia.
Russia made a dumb move, and it’s continuing to make dumb moves. It’s trying to strong-arm nations from joining alliances they have a full right to join, because its maniacal leader is paranoid.
Pleading for a nation not to join alliances and then invading them with “they didn’t listen to me” as a casus belli is not a good way to make friends.
Don’t try to defend Russia, because there’s no defense for what it’s doing now. It’s an unprovoked invasion, plain and simple.

That's quite a sad out look I'm afraid what if our republic could evolve before its too late multiple countries like Germany have more than 2 dogmatic parties that are at eachothers throats and deep in the pockets of those that want to run the USA.
I'm guilty of this sometimes. Like, I post this with words about stuff that I am arguing about so it becomes so long and then I have to explain it more to make sure others understand my point clearly and then try to reason why other person (usually PCPP) is indeed wrong, as well as why I am right. If you did not know this process, it is called writing stuff wayyy too long for purposes, when all you could really do is: Hey you do realize you're wrong, this is why, so this is what is the truth instead of your claim (expect double the length) It's also why PCPP did so well in total characters and average characters per post, as he is inclined to do this practice every single post almost. But, this is just one of the three paragraphs. I am too tired to keep writing about this subject, maybe one day we could get to subjects that aren't about current events and instead about stuff like cars or which fruit is the best. That is how it was around here before everyone started to get drunk and start attacking posts for being wrong (when often times that is not the case). Things like Hoff's QoTD are good places to start, but I think a teeny bit of organization could be helpful to start "threads" about certain topics whilst keeping it mixed into one channel, as NS already has a hellhole forum for people to use at their own will. What I mean by this is basically just people starting conversations about something they like, and some form of civility that is tried to be kept throughout the RMB, which has frankly been missing for like 6 months now. Anyways, can we do something besides argue about Ukraine vs Russia?
This is incorrect as everyone from European colonial powers to usa itself has indulged in colonialism. Most states in USA is because of invasions. What you say is not the correct reason.

I’m confused on the definition of the verb “to play”.
Because I play instruments. Although an interpretation of it could be eliminated (to listen to), it still somewhat confounds me.
But I like to play the organ, so mostly classical music. But if you’re asking what type of music I listen to, it’s sometimes classical. But I’d like to keep what else I listen to private.
