Sometimes, we never truly know the reasons for things, I personally doubt it's that

Man I got m II sterilizer but it's only curing 5-6mill people. My m I used to cure like 100-160 millions people. Is the game becoming tough to cure as we progress in time??

The number you cure depends on the population of who you're curing.

No man, i tried to cure a country with like 10-11 billion population and with a country having population 300 million. My missiles only cured like 5-6 million people.
