Each committee is designed for a specific purpose and if citizens have a concern of possible legislative ideas then use each committee to help formulate the legislation, each committee is tasked with holding public hearings when an important matter needs to be discussed, each committee also has the power to summon witness.

oh boy hang onto your hats I'm going to use article 1 2b of our constitution quite a lot congrats to all who were elected unfortunately you aren't quite safe.
The Grand Union Kingdom - FOR, "I believe this act will allow for greater public input and outreach on the GA's legislation." i dont know about public outreach but.... 14. The General Assembly may vote to remove a member as chair or as a member from a committee with a simple majority vote 6. Each committee shall be chaired by a member selected by the Speaker 2. Standing committees shall consist solely of members of the General Assembly that's quite a bit of GA outreach.
As for standing committees all this seems to do is take the duties of our ministers and cut them down in to unnecessarily small chunks. Although this may help offload the strain on ministers the best it does for citizens is give the ministers an extra pear of ears.

overall the idea and result of this law seems jumbled with the idea being public oversight but result being protection of the region i cant help but think this is just an over engineering of what we have already. I get a sinking feeling from posting this but i feel it needs to be said.
I honestly don't have a tonne to decree, but I still want to exercise my right to triple post so here's me just listing things that may or may not resemble decrees:
