Cyclone Prediction Report (CPR) Released

The CPR is a report issued every year regarding the predictions by warning centers over how many tropical cyclones can be expected from this season. The report stated the average from 1970 to 2021 demonstrated 18 named storms, 10 hurricanes/cyclones and 5-6 major hurricanes/cyclones. The record breaking season of 2017 saw 25 named storms develop, 16 hurricanes and 8 major hurricanes, in contrast to the 2020 season, the most inactive cyclone season, with 5 named storms, 1 hurricane and 0 major hurricanes. Several agencies released data regarding their findings.

Tennemagma National Weather Service predicts: 21 named storms, 11 hurricanes, and 3 major hurricanes. The Service calls for Mikal, Cilicia and Tennemagma as especially high risk areas.

Proposed Bullet Train Project in Naltrin

It has been announced several hours ago by Naltrin’s Governor Dridea that a high-speed bullet train network is to be made throughout the province. This includes thirty different stations throughout Naltrin, with rail networks branching off from a hub in the capital of Alessona.

A Tenuous Commonwealth, An Infamous Trial

A yearly reenactment of the famous Battle of Lake Trigon, turning point of the 1920-1931 Ascoobian Civil War, went terribly wrong. In what is now being investigated as act of negligence, a live high-explosive shell to be loaded into a 150mm Howitzer loaned from Ascubi's Armor Museum, rather than the intended blank charge. Frisestål B/ev has proudly announced imminent construction of a large new metallurgical facility in Sværdeneskilde Canton. The facility is to specialize in the production of Galinstan, an alloy being used in the chemistry field to supplant mercury and NaK. It has received funding from the Cantonal government and is expected to bring roughly 400 new permanent jobs to the canton, an astounding number for a facility of this type, though unsurprising given its size.

The move is apparently a collaboration with Nordøen Kemiskselskab, where Frisestål will produce and supply the galinstan directly for use in "chemical projects."

Security wise is why the city is called Kota bayangan in Linkers Sha mostly because the newly built naval, land and air bases for the Linkers Shan garrison with extensive border patrol by Linkers Shan soldiers in the city it self the streets are also patrolled by Linkers Shan soldiers mainly with the police seemingly fitting a complementary role.

Giving Eluthania's preference on neutrality is not a sufficient answer as some may be contented on, neither its unwillingness to enter into international alliances on a whim. It goes much deeper than that, dear reader. Consider, that Eluthania is located in a strategic location in Garalie, serving as one of the guards to the entrance of the Bizinki, which contains most of Diyar's busiest and most important trade routes. Also consider, that Eluthania is neighbor to undoubtedly one of the most powerful nations in the modern world, Orvos, who shares deep historical connections with the Republic. Orvos, while ideologically different to Eluthania, we consider them one of our closest friends and partners, and for good reason, they are not to be trifled with. For years, Eluthania has had to consider its place inside the Orvosian sphere when making a move on the international community. But recently, the current Directorate has diverged from the Garalie-centric policy that the country has taken. Reviving its amicable relations with Russia, the country has recently concluded many trade agreements and has even bought weaponry from the Russian Empire. This has naturally alarmed the Garalie-centric politicians within the halls of government, fearing Orvos would not take kindly to shifting attention. The Directorate took another step further by approving the aforementioned act of joining the Holy Alliance as an observer state. We did not bother to request we fully join for such a move would surely anger our Orvosian neighbors. A smart move on the part of the Directorate.
