War With Avilania Drags On Despite our union with FOR TENNEMAGMA! FOR TETOBAN! FOR MIKAL! Condolences The island offers its condolences to Meridionalis lettonia following the tragic massacre conducted by three angry students against their school. Being a peaceful, and relatively light armed state, violent crime is unusual in Tennemagma, however, that doesn't mean we aren't uncaring. The Archduchess has offered to travel to Lettonia to meet with Empress Vesuvia to discuss in person. The offer was accepted and the Archduchess Mariana Theodosia shall be traveling to Lettonia soon. Orvosian Military Base Paid For, Soon To Be Established One of Tennemagma's unused and old harbors has been transferred to the Orvosian Armed Forces for them to deploy warships and troops in order to ensure no enemy army steps foot on Tennemagma again. This military base shall be guarded and kept away from the island's civilian population, though Orvosian troops will be given homes on the island for them and their families, as a thank you from the local government. The island shall be their new home away from home. Auranesian Activity Increasing, And the Appropriate Response From what we have been able to determine, the Auranesians have been leaving the caves and underground tribal complexes of the island more and more frequently in the passing weeks. Again, only emerging at night, this appears to be recon missions atop the cliffs, spying on the people of the island, as well as the palace. It is unknown what their plans are, though we intend to keep an eye on them. The Archduchess has issued an order for martial law and a curfew after 10 P.M established, which is about an hour before the Auranesians are frequently sighted in their scouting missions. As of now, the population is obeying the orders and are staying in from 10 P.M to 8 A.M, which is how long the curfew lasts. No cars are too be on the road, no bicycles and all modes of transport of decreed as not to be used until the 8 A.M time is reached. New Attorney General After the unfortunate death of Attorney General Relian Apomoros from brain cancer, a special hearing of Parliament was held by PM Calfor, where candidates were brought before Parliament, the Governors, and the Prime Minister. Each candidate was asked questions about their experience, legal philosophy, and what their rulings would be in different imagined situations. After a week of deliberation, famed defense lawyer Saul Goodman was chosen to be the new Attorney General. He shocked the Parliament with his quick-witted, yet carefully thought-out answers to questions, along with his ingenious persuasion skills. For example, here is his response to a question during the hearings. "What do you usually first tell your clients when they hire you to be a defense attorney?" "Here is what I always say." SMS Vehicle Competition Finishes! The Spesjaal Maritimt Skytte have come forward with the results for their Amphibious Assault Vehicle competition. The Kurganets-25 refit model submitted by Sarayevka has won the competition, with the Amphibious Combat Vehicle from The SMS are expected to order 280 of the vehicle—modified as per Forsvarsstyrker standard—which will be designated Skk-A/25. The ship—KP Yggdrasil—will spend 9 days sailing to the Canton, whereupon it will disembark secondary cargo for the territory. Prime Minister's House, Přechod, Mužisko. As the roaring fire blazed down on him from millions of miles away in space, the Prime Minister lay in its serene embrace. It was a beautiful Spring day as the temperature easily smashed the thermometer's readings, even since the morning it was in the mid-twenties and now, at mid-day, it was probably pushing the boundaries of thirty-odd degrees. The capital was bustling with people making the most of their days and across the glistening river that would blind him with its reflection had he forgotten to put on his sunglasses the Prime Minister saw the liveliness of bars packed with his countrymen all across the waterfront, it was a gracious sight for the Prime Minister to see so many people enjoying themselves, but he somewhat resented himself for getting a job that would stop him having that sort of life for as long as he worked it. Alexandr had taken the blazing heat in the run-up to summer as an opportunity to get out of his office for once and soak up one of nature's greatest gifts, Prime Minister's House having a respectable garden on the waterfront was one of the greatest things about it, offering a gorgeous sight year-round. Lýdie quickly produced her phone and the next thing Alexandr knew, there were pictures of him with his mouth hanging open, asleep with a hand half parked off the sunbed by his bottle of Chakoml. The pictures weren't the most flattering and anybody but his wife would probably be inclined to give them to the press for every man, woman, child and dog to look and laugh at. "You shall have to send them to me for a new official portrait, love." He smiled confidently as the sweaty, energy-sapped sight of him stared at his wife. Lýdie glimmered an elegant smile at her husband, whose expression was infectiously positive, and frankly, his comment amused her. "Now that you're awake, Klimeš phoned for you.
