Armistice of Axenground After a two-week siege of the town of Bourcan by the ASDF and allied counter-terrorism forces, the guerrillas surrendered, and the camps on the banks of the Orange River were dismantled. The rebel nobles and the terrorists decided to hold a peace conference at Axenground, but the Republic of Atrocha refused to see it as a peace treaty, but rather as an armistice that would end open violence. The signing of the armistice achieved that the rebels stopped attacking the Atrochans, and the Atrochans ceded land to a future restoration of the old government. With the Treaty of Tumaco, these territorial losses were compensated by the possession of the island of Gra-Bretanha, renamed Palenque, and millions of Atrochans living in the Banda Oriental came to live in Palenque, imitating the names of their original homes in the new towns that were established.
