The Imperial Interim Government of Terrabis-Seran

The Death Syndicate wrote:Harald's demeanor doesn't change. He shakes his head, disapprovingly.
"For one that has lived six hundred full years... I suppose I shouldn't blame you for not understanding how things work in this dimension. You come to me, and ask that I be a kingmaker for a day. Yet, you seem to be blind to the dirt that stains a crown from the gutter. Felicity, I can't just make people into soldiers. They require a will and a reason to fight. They require material that cannot be acquired by any legal means. If you truly want that land back, you'll have to live with the price."
He sighs, clasping his face, and leans back in his chair. He tilts his head back and looks at the ceiling, before sitting up again to address Felicity.
"You found the right person, perhaps, but you know not the methods with which Felsinsel operates. After all, nobody truly knows that the cook for a particular Estandian president's banquet was kidnapped, that the beans were purposely undercooked to poison him by an imposter, that the drunken fuel tank driver which delivered the final, fiery blow was never more sober in their life. No, nobody would know that it was arms provided by the Syndicate to the Honorites that let them rise to power, and that it was the same armament that had brought the highly favorable monarchy to power after a civil war. Nobody would know that it was Death Syndicate mercenaries working in conjunction with elements of the AOS to smuggle chemical weapons to the poikarians and help them lead a war effort while Operation Rockfish terrorized the people of Cardonia. So I ask you again. What is the price you are willing to pay?"

Of Centralist Brexit

Felicity would sigh at Harald's own stupidity.
"You think that in order to start a rebellion you need a syndicate's help? We have dozens of stockpiles that could go missing without anyone batting an eye. The Seran up north have already signaled that they want out in their protests. All I need is one man to step in and train their people into a fighting force. I'm not looking for some assassin, nor am I looking to do this by terror and fear. I am looking for a good man, and if you wish to be stuck in the mud of your own past, well then I guess that's your own naivity talking."

Of Centralist Brexit wrote:"Tell me what is allowed and Isn't allowed and Ill ensure the Courts Remain compliant, Especially when showing the Duchesses Strengths and to put down her... Stressful, shortcomings.

"The heads of the Courts are to be kept alive. From the Fae to the Kitsune to the Slime, I'm not looking to break them per se. I am looking for a subtle strength, a reminder that the dynasty is still strong, and willing to flex its muscles if any of them dare to break the rules and laws created by my father. The path you take to get there is up to you."

The air at the border of phosphorus is so polluted that it looks like a circle of black smoke from space, and is difficult to breath with a gasmask on and completely blocks one's sight.

Harald sighs. He knows that Felicity will not be swayed.
"Alright. I'll do it your way. I'll do it to the best of my ability. But when fingers are pointed at you by the international community because military armament from Terrabis-Seran is exposed, when the guerrillas are unable to sustain their ranks or pressure Lanhoff, when the tenious alliances this nation holds crumbles and fades... You'll come to understand."
He sighs. He had told a lie masked in half truths. Yes, he would help the guerrillas in whatever way he could. Yes, his predictions on the international community's response would be harsh. But he would not do everything entirely by Felicity's code of honor.
"I find it quite... contrarian. You say that I should use any means necessary to restrain dear Sara if she steps out of line, but seem to be so convicted to hide behind honor and pride. Curious. Anyways, if we are quite done here, I had a quiche dinner I'd like to get back to."

Felcity would shake her head.
"I love how you just jumped to little conclusions like that. Reminds me of some politicians. You will certainly change your tune once you take a look at the stockpiles."
She unlocks the doors, handing Harald an address to one of the buildings. The chillness in her voice would be gone, as Iris got up to go with Harald.
"Just make sure that, with your current plans, you do not screw up. It would be a shame if you let your own Pride get in the way of a new life for yourself."
