What country do you live in and what do you love/hate about it the most?

I’m British and I love how everyone is very pro NHS (even though the Tories will eventually dismantle it) but I hate (besides the capitalism) the high levels of centralisation. I live in north west England and the towns round here are dismal in terms of hygiene, cleanliness, etc compared to the south east. People have to move towards London for job opportunities sometimes because it’s so centralised. I myself plan to vote for the Northern Independence Party when I can in the future

I've lived here for 6 years
Now I've lived in 5 different countries before, appart from my homeland the UK, and America is by far the worst
It's a country that has absolutely everything to truly become a first class society, but holy schnitzel, people here can be really really stupid
Specially their politicians
Plus of course Healthcare and education are a joke, appart from universities, with prices for any medical procedure or quality lower education being extremely high
Basically due to a dumb population, extreme conservatism and anti-leftism in the government, and abhorrent abuse of workers by corporations enabled by the capitalist system the United States is terrible
Oh and don't forget about terrible public transportation and an insane disparity of incomes between the bourgeoise at the top and the hard workers at the bottom
This country makes me miss the military days

One American told me it's better to be in the USA than in Europe. Another told me they would prefer American healthcare over the NHS (one reason being they can pay to get medical attention more quickly than in the UK).

Personally I'm more biased towards Europe.

As an American, This is pretty true, especially about the stupid people and the healthcare and education.

It's every type of junk food imaginable and the only remotely healthy thing is if you eat at a restaurant that serves food from other countries.
Also, just about everything is made out of corn.

I’ve never actually been to Europe—let alone anywhere outside of North America—but I know enough about Europe to the point where I would want to visit. A lot of countries have some great culture and it would be cool to visit. One person I met who was born in Sarajevo said that living in the U.S. was preferable…, though I still love Europe more than the U.S., just a visit would be fine lol. Also, sorry for literally giving unneeded and unwanted info about my life lol.

(fyi, y'all don't Have to spoiler posts that length--feel free to if you really want to for some reason, but it's not at all necessary. if anyone here is doing it just because they saw another person spoilering part of their post, i just wanted to let you know that the rules absolutely don't require you to spoiler just a short paragraph.)

I wouldn't say it's unneeded (that may fall into gross or explicit stuff).

My rough guess would be Sarajevo had a lower living standard than where they are now in the US.

You can technically make any country nice, it's about knowing what to look for and where to go (good vs bad areas. Even in cities).

India. I hate the government and everything about it. Our society is ill-minded, opportunistic and conservative and full of hatred, but they were divided by politicians.
But I love my country for reasons. India is such a joyous place, with so much diversity and there are a lot of nice people too! Jai Hind!

I don't know much about Bengal. What is it known for? Tigers would be an easy one.

Bengali language is quite well-known among those interested in languages. Also for the International mother language day and Rabindranath Tagore. I have heard Rasgullas are becoming favourite for westerners, too.
Haha the tiger thing is true lol. Some think tigers even lurk beside our homes lmao. Tigers in Sundarbans are really fearsome, though.

Sort of, but I mainly mean that wealth is centred around London, which makes sense seeing as it's the capital, but the extent of it doesn’t. The further you are from London the poorer the country gets.

Hey, RMBers! There's a resolution attempting to take away our allies, The Black Hawks', well-earned Condemnation award! Please upvote our recommendation that everyone votes against here:

Official Voting Recommendation

Proposal Title: Repeal: “Condemn The Black Hawks”
Category: Repeal
Resolution: SC#52
Proposed By: Honeydewistania
Purpose: A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Our Recommendation

The Ministry hereby recommends that all WA nations vote AGAINST the current Security Council proposal at-vote.

Rationale & Analysis

While it is indeed true that the writing of many earlier SC resolutions would be considered as being subpar today, the proposed alternative of using declarations in place of commendations and condemnations is sadly misinformed. Naturally, as the World Assembly has evolved, so have its authors and so have the norms of writing proposals to be submitted to it. This proposal does well to observe this fact, however, it ultimately fails to achieve its primary function; which is to succinctly advocate for why repeal is necessary, and, furthermore, seems especially dismissive towards the usage of C&Cs (commendations and condemnations) to express the Security Council’s will.

In addition to being very unspecific and opinionated in its claims for why SC#52 ought to be repealed, it fails to substantiate these claims sufficiently by providing any examples or emphasizing any areas for improvement in the original resolution. While the author makes a noble attempt at refuting counter-arguments before they can be made, the Ministry finds that this sort of reasoning and explanation is better left to the commentary surrounding the proposal than it is being included within the proposal’s text itself.

As such, Ministry leadership has directed Kethania to vote AGAINST Repeal: “Condemn The Black Hawks” and we encourage all WA member nations within the Bloc to do the same.
