The Fluffy Feline Federation of Feline Masters

1. Why are S1 cards so much more valuable to most collectors than S2 ones? There are some S1s generated for significant nations that have since CtEd (e.g. Santa Joanna) but the difference in values for extant nations can be jarring. I understand that lots of S1 cards have been junked but packs of them randomly appear often enough that this difference amazes me! I have had S1 cards of mine sell for excessively high prices that I forgot I set and then turned around an purchased the S2 edition and been left with significant surpluses of cash.

2. Frieden-und Freudenland's mouse situation reminds me a bit of my first residence but there was a huge hedge of especially oily oleander immediately outside that seemed to kill them before they ever got inside. It worries me a little bit that I had to brush past it to go anywhere (the hedge was about 2.5' away from a wall that I had to walk past to get out front). Alternatively, something else was killing the mice and they just happened to die next to the oleander. That would be a minorly intriguing mystery to solve. Oh, and I think that you should trade the current housemate (who I suspect to be a closeted ailurophobe with an excuse) for an ailurophile. Feline Masters' writing extolling the virtues of cats is absolutely on point!

Ailurophobia is an important and often overlooked problem in the human world. A lot of people conveniently conceal their hostility against cats by claiming that they are allergic to our hair, which is a big pile of human feces, I dare say. It is funny that humans are hypersensitive when it comes to differences within humans, so if someone discriminates against another group of humans based on their group identity, another group of humans will raise hell, because they are homophobic, Islamophobic, blablaphobic and what other discrimination you humans are capable of. Ailurophobia, however, flies under your radar, or perhaps you don't care. Few humans I know would lose their minds over a cat who is being discriminated against. A cat I knew had to be "rehomed" (to put it as if it was a cute thing) because the stupid family realized that their daughter was allergic only after adopting (!) the cat. Almost overnight, the cat was removed from the only home he had, where he had his food bowl, his bed, his toys, his kingdom. Never has a human monarch suffered a more demeaning exile.

But anyway. Whom am I talking to? Most humans are OK with the systematic extermination of livestock on farms, so they probably won't care about a homeless cat.

So at this point Chan Island is starting to collect banners through nothing but inertia, just got the one for the country being cultured and equal. Haven't answered an actual issue on this account in like 2 years (mostly because I keep them as a mini museum of my contributions- 17 so far).

I really want a peaceful world with all ethnic groups and cultures united and not fighting for land or strength, I want a world with only one flag, one song, one system and one community.

I'm just bored but if there's no pandemic, I will like to met every culture or ethnicity and the way they live. Love watching people doing their own things. This planet is such a treasure and a very beautiful place. I want to create a game on how to fill a map with cultures and ethnicities and mess up with them like God.

Humans are like cichlids. They do in a way different, they do territories like humans do with the countries.

If there are any college students reading this, here is a tip for you when you take exams: LESS IS MORE.

Seriously.

Unless you are sure you know the material really well and there are no gaps in your knowledge, don't go rambling on and on, essentially writing a tiny essay on a question that requires a short answer of several sentences maximum. As a rule, the more you ramble, the more likely you are to blurt out something that proves to me you misunderstood an essential concept that the question is asking about. After that point, I cannot give you any credit, as you have exposed yourself.

This makes me sad, because I give credit to students who wrote exactly what was asked of them, and did not venture a single sentence beyond that. It is possible that they do not necessarily know more than you do, but at the end, they are the ones who get the credit, while you will lose it; because you weren't smart enough to stop just before you started spewing out bullsh1t.

Here is an example:

Question: What is an apple?

Answer 1: It is a round fruit about the size of the clenched fist of an adult human hand. It is sweet, and most varieties are shades of red, yellow, or green in color. (Full Credit)

Answer 2: It is a round fruit about the size of the clenched fist of an adult human hand. It is sweet, and most varieties are shades of red, yellow, or green in color. That being said, there are also curvy and yellow apples growing in more tropical climates and with peelable skin, which chimps like to eat. Some apples belong to the citrus family and can be squeezed for their juice, which contains lots of Vitamin C. And there are also some apples that are not fruits, but are vegetables (wtf?) and some apples are actually fungi (I give up). (Zero points)

Don't be the second guy in this story.

Edit: Yes, I am grading a final exam.

There are different sizes of apples and different sizes of human hands (obviously, d'uh) so either of the explanations could be correct. What species of apples do you have?

Anyone know does Octopus islands still make maps and is the nation fairly active? Seems like Octopus was last active 13 days ago. Just wondering how long those map updates usually takes - I assume months usually or maybe every 6 months or so? Does any veteran nation know these things?

Aren't those apples a bit on the bigger side? How about a Honeycrisp apple? C'mon, your hands cannot be smaller than a Honeycrisp apple unless you are Donald Trump!

They're a notoriously tasteless apple, the epitome of favoring look over taste. I would recommend almost any other variety of apple. Though, nutritionally, there's no real difference, should you have been wondering.

I'm a great lover of apples, but am consistently disappointed by the narrow selection available at supermarkets. There's so many wonderful apples out there, I just wish there was some way for me to access them...

Then why is it called 'red delicious'? I'm not entirely sure what reasoning could be applied to justify a misnomer like this if it is as well known a fact as you suggest. I don't really eat apples so I can't make a comment on their taste personally, but gosh does it sound ironic that a fruit called 'red delicious' is actually bland.

Dark kreston wrote:Hey guys how many of you signed the climate treaty?

Lura has signed a climate treaty, and as soon as we were given the opportunity, since we highly value the environment not only for its beauty but also for the natural pigments that are important to our culture and economy. A Lura without its famous dyes would be tragic.

Lura has three important cities: Lunaja-Solare, and the two capitals of the former nations making up Lura.

Lunaja-Solare, as the name suggests, is a twin city. Lunaja is separated from Solare by a river, and prior to unification, this river was a national border and the two cities were still quite separate. Lunaja and Solare were named the joint capitals of the newly formed Lura as they were both quite large and their location by the border was seen as a great symbol of unity. Over time, the two cities quickly merged together, helped by the Tsar and Tsarina building the new royal castle on an island in the river between the cities, and once merged, the hyphenated name stuck.

More info on L-S and the old capitals needs to be developed still...

The Equatorial Forests of Uan aa Boa

Middle Barael wrote:#1) What are your biggest cities?

Aa (the capital), Kingolo and Kikangane.

Middle Barael wrote:#2) If you could describe each of them in a sentence or two, what would they be?

Within the past 35 years everything has been rebuilt from scratch according to a central plan, so the cities are somewhat lacking in individual character. Each is the result of a determined attempt to plan society so as to minimise environmental impact.

Middle Barael wrote:#3) List the districts/subsections of one or more of those cities

These so called cellular cities are divided between communes that are similar to small villages. Each is focused on one economic activity and contains its own school, primary healthcare and community facilities. It's not unusual to go weeks on end without leaving your immediate surroundings. Names are simply identifiers e.g. Kikangane District Manufacturing Collective #17.

Dark kreston wrote:Hey guys how many of you signed the climate treaty?

Uan aa Boa rejects the treaty for being insufficiently ambitious and pursues its own more robust targets.
