Let them wail and gnash their teeth. Gun control is dead. Get yourself a 3D printer, and print some guns. Here's a ton of files for various receivers: https://odysee.com/@TheGatalog-PrintableFramesReceivers:9 |
I don't care that much about this trial but watching the leftist meltdown over the masses going against their dogma is hilarious Xyanth and Astaena-caenera |
A college think tank started the latest talking point among Marxist college activists. Quoting from The College Fix, we are treated to the following wisdom: "We encourage businesses to re-think hiring procedures and remove the stigmas associated with non-traditional degrees."[1] Let us consider this for a moment. We have a freshly minted grad with a masters degree in Native American Natural Healing Methods and Substances. If that person applies to General Motors, this group would like to see GM pass over several dozen outstanding candidates with MBA's in favor of the peyote expert. There's no way that is going to go wrong. What do you think? ----------------------------------------------------- |
This right here is why universal, not "free", higher education needs to be look at with a lot of scepticism. If you think that going $30,000+ into debt for a postgraduate degree in two-spirit bongo drum sexology ought to guarantee you a high-paying C.E.O. job in a Fortune 500 company, as a hiring director, that right away tells me where your level of judgement is at -- and, it ain't high (unless you're the one on that peyote trip XD). Plus, you expect me to pay for your poor decision-making? Get out of town. I'm very much against the elitist approach to hiring in the form of credentialism (e.g., if you didn't spend 4 years at an Ivy League institution, you shouldn't even apply to this job). Trump did the right thing in mandating that skills be emphasised over degrees for federal jobs (https://bit.ly/3Q8xY3A). It should be adopted in the private sector across the country. But, when you have these neo-Marxist loons demanding that the business world bend over backwards and accept their completely unmarketable degrees in rad-left studies, you've gotta thank the good Lord that there's a price tag at the end of their lunacy. The skills in that labour pool are rock-bottom low. No-one should be expected to go into higher education to get a good job. There are many well-paying jobs out there that are good, honest work that don't require it (e.g., plumbers, electricians), and they should be expanded. Unfortunately, most young adults today are pushed into it by their parents, with the worst of them expecting us to adapt our businesses to their poor decision-making -- and, worst yet, wanting to leave us with the bill, as well. Thoughts? |
Remember those middle school kids who found themselves under a full blown sexual harassment investigation for misgendering another student with the wrong pronouns? Those boys won that argument in a slam dunk on First Amendment grounds, biology grounds, and "Are you kidding me? This is middle school!" grounds. The school and the district are still reeling under the onslaught of negative feedback in the matter. They blame that negative feedback on all the media attention to their actions. Yeah... That's what went wrong here. Here's a couple reality checks for the Kiel Area School District. —You tried to sacrifice these boys at the altar of Politically Correct New Think. That fact alone created the need for the category three media storm coming down around your ears. Frankly, you could have found a much more appropriate way of dealing with it. A way that respected everyone's viewpoints. —Had it not been for the category three media storm surrounding your actions, (No, this wasn't even a cat 5) there would have been a gross injustice at the hands of your district. The Politically Correct Inquisitors would have slapped a sexual harassment label on these boys that would have followed them all the rest of their academic careers, possibly even out into the real world. Rather than complaining about about being under a microscope, you should be thanking the media for stopping a social lynching. https://www.thecollegefix.com/district-drops-title-ix-investigation-into-middle-schoolers-who-used-incorrect-pronouns/ |
For the life of me, I can't understand how these poorly disguised rad-leftist district officials think that this is a good P.R. response. So, the community residents, those who pay the local taxes and, therefore, those officials' salaries, shouldn't have any input on what goes on in their own community? It isn't those officials' responsibility to follow the community's will? Hmm, telling... Similarly, we've seen this in the confrontations between parents and school boards over critical race theory (C.R.T.) in schools. Failed VA Gov. candidate, Terry McAuliffe, put it best, "I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach" (https://bit.ly/3xLYmsQ). The National School Boards Association (N.S.B.A.) even sent a memo to Biden's DoJ, labelling those parents as "domestic terrorists", with Att. Gen. Garland ultimately asking the F.B.I. to go after them (https://bit.ly/3aXNm2w). In other words, transparency and accountability in government is a no-go. Oh, yeah, the community will be thrilled. I'm glad to see that these wolves in sheep's clothing are getting the whooping which they deserve. Whatever happened to the liberals who didn't want labels? We were far better-off then. Thankfully, they've begun to go for Republican candidates -- the true defenders of equality, meritocracy and free speech. |
Very true! The issue is that practically every high-school graduate today is expected to immediately ship themselves off to college, whereas higher education should be for specialisation in complex fields, like S.T.E.M., as you pointed out, Xyanth. That change alone will decrease tuition cost substantially (https://bit.ly/3OuPv4D). Even Bill Maher pointed this out (https://youtu.be/_x5SeXNabd8). For an entry-level librarian position, you now need a Master's degree. Really, to file books? That isn't liberal. The reality is that, for the vast majority of jobs, experience is far more valuable than a little piece of paper with calligraphy and a stamp. |
Hey Regional Delegate, Imren, When you get a minute, could approve this: page=UN_view_proposal/id=us_of-a_1655471194 kthxbye |
Milton Friedman is a dyed in the wool New York Times liberal. Don't waste my time. |
Memorandum TO: Everyone It came to our attention that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Communist, NY) does not approve of capitalism. From now on anyone using her acronym will write it out as 'aoc.' Thank you. |
FINA, the swimming competition governing body for the world, just came out with rules over OEM males who identify as female competing against real women in swimming events. Those rules state that for an OEM male to compete as a female, that transition must have occured before completing puberty. There are some other scientific rules as well. Of course the left immediately went nuts. The outrage was impressive. But with all the noise coming from that outrage, none of those people brought up all those women whose records and wins are being pushed aside by the trans athletes with the unfair advantages. What do you think? New poll is up. Perapasuy and Astaena-caenera |
On the one hand, FINA should be applauded for leveling the women's playing field (or playing pool?). On the other hand, kids should not be undergoing gender reassignment therapy/surgery - only informed, consenting adults should be allowed to undergo those procedures. Therefore, there should be separate categories and records for trans athletes. Xyanth and Astaena-caenera |
The good news: The US Supreme Court told the State of New York the government there must follow the US Constitution. Thank [insert deity of choice here] for President Trump and his picks for the high court. The bad news: There are still three communists on the high court. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/supreme-court-gun-decision-shoots-down-ny-rule-high-bar-concealed-carry-licenses |
As someone who lives behind enemy lines in a one-party socialist US state with draconian gun control and an unconstitutional "may-issue," "justifiable need" concealed-carry regime, today's ruling is one of the rare moments where the government gets it right. It's shameful that it took this long to finally overturn this blatantly unconstitutional violation of our 2nd Amendment rights. Xyanth and Astaena-caenera |
The Corporate State of Ainhtor I’ve had some detours, but I’m really close to becoming a free market paradise (low civil rights and high economic and political freedoms). It’s one of the rarest classifications in the game. Wish me luck. Xyanth, Veilacia, Astaena-caenera, and Mangrovia |
It is truly troubling there are people out there who actually believe an OEM male should be allowed to compete against OEM females on an otherwise level playing field. The OEM Females do not stand a chance. The Confederacy of Beastland and Astaena-caenera |
Wow! A bounty on the locations of Supreme Court Justices out in public. There is no way that ever going to go wrong. https://twitter.com/ShutDown_DC/status/1545421407223521280 The Confederacy of Beastland, Veilacia, and Astaena-caenera |
