The Community of Independent Athletes from Quebec Anyways, please check here for anything transfer-wise: viewtopic.php?p=39441047&sid=30e4bac74aac17406f503f9f1c2722ef#p39441047 There will be a TW36 in a week or two's time. Stay patient. |
The Confederacy of Squornshelan Remnant States Romsten, a bit of advice. Very few people are likely to be interested in either accepting players from your league or sending their players to your league until you have actually RPed that league. As of this posting, the only league information you have posted is a list of 16 teams and a single matchday of results. It has been six months since there was any activity in your league thread. In addition, there is already a well-established system for transfering players between clubs, the Transfer Window spreadsheet which is posted once per IFCF cycle. If you are interested in actually running and RPing a domestic league, I would suggest that you finish the season you began back in December. If you can get it done by this Sunday June 12th, you can enter teams from your league in the upcoming IFCF cycle. I would also recommend watching for the Transfer Window spreadsheet. A link will be posted on the forums around the same time as the IFCF entry cutoff. Doing things on your own, like unilaterally posting a free agents thread for the region when you have no experience with running an NS Sports competition of any kind is not going to make anyone want to work with you. 95x, Quebec and Shingoryeo, and Efnakia |
The Home of Sports of Atlantian Oceania To follow on that, for Romsten or anyone else interested in entering into the formal NS Sports Domestic League Scene, here is a "Quick Start" Guide factbook on some of the quickest ways to get something up and running: So you want to participate in the IFCF / AOCL or other Domestic Competitions on NS Sports? The simplest way to get involved with domestic leagues on NS is simply to scorinate your domestic league. You can opt to simply provide a table of results or do a deep dive into the teams, players and histories of all involved. Check out Nephara's Detailed Domestic Tutorial for recommendations on how to further build depth and quality into your league presentations. 1. How to Scorinate my League?
1. Highlight "EVENTS" on the left side of xkoranate 2. Click the GREEN PLUS ( + ) at the bottom of the left side window 3. Choose Association Football (IE: Soccer / Football) on the right (or another sport, if thats what league you want to make) 4. Pick a formula (Lets say NSFS) and Click Continue 5. Enter your team names.
6. Once you have entered all the teams you would like (typically between 10-36), SAVE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE - and Click Continue Of course, Xkoranate offers many other ways to tweak your league which you can experiment with or read about in the guides above. This process is simply the fastest way to familiarize yourself with the entry-to-output process of going from nothing to a completed league! 2. How to enter my league champions into international club tournaments? For Association Football / Soccer, you should submit your results to the International Domestic Soccer Newswires using the appropriate format. For Ice Hockey, use the HockeySport :: Ice Hockey Thread. See links to other sports at the bottom of this page. If you don't have your own standalone thread for your league results then you should use the [ pre] [ /pre] tags and paste your league table from xkoranate, along with the official entry submission form below: Samplestan (XYZ) qualifiers Champions League: (1st place team) Challengers Cup: (2nd Place team), (3rd place team), (4th place team) Other International Competitions: [box]Samplestan (XYZ) qualifiers Champions League: (1st place team) Challengers Cup: (2nd Place team), (3rd place team), (4th place team) Other International Competitions: AOCL: (1st place team) [/box] 3. How do I enter the Liga B Cup, Youth Cup and other events? The Liga B Cup is for second tier teams and the Youth Cup is for Youth teams. You can enter those tournaments as well simply by following Step 1 above for a new league (Second Tier - all new teams) or using the same teams at a youth level (or any mix thereof). The Samplestan (XYZ) qualifiers Champions League: (1st place team) Challengers Cup: (2nd Place team), (3rd place team), (4th place team) Liga B Cup: (Tier 2 - 1st Place), (Tier 2 - 2nd Place), (Tier 3 - 3rd Place) Youth Cup: (Youth - 1st place) Other International Competitions: [box]Samplestan (XYZ) qualifiers Champions League: (1st place team) Challengers Cup: (2nd Place team), (3rd place team), (4th place team) Liga B Cup: (Tier 2 - 1st Place), (Tier 2 - 2nd Place), (Tier 3 - 3rd Place) Youth Cup: (Youth - 1st place) Other International Competitions: AOCL: (1st place team) CWC: Cup Winner VCI: Another team not listed above! [/box] For sports other than association football, reference that threads first post for guidance on the proper entry format for that tournament. Others can and do respond "no" to questions and offers. It's best to accept that answer and move on without responding. No means no. Your post where you offer transfers is viewable to everyone in the game, and if someone is interested, they can contact you. Insulting others discourages them from wanting to interact with you; it's is also against site rules and can get you warned by site moderation and/or eventually banned. And/or you may wind up on a one-way express bus to "Kandyland" (let's not go there). You may wish to consider taking a few moments to review the following three pages, which you already agreed to when you signed up for NS: NS Sports is a "game-within-a-game" that's evolved over the last two decades with various norms and customs, many of them patterned after real-life. Some things to think about include in-character questions like 'why would anybody want to play in your nation', 'what does your nation offer that no one else does', etc., and out-of-character things like being able to demonstrate that you can complete an entire season (quite a few leagues of every sport have gone the way of RL leagues like the Alliance of American Football, to give one example) and not sound like Mark Cuban shortly after he bought the Dallas Mavericks. With that said, there have been others in the past that got off on a rocky start yet learned what they needed to and turned their reputation around.
