I know nobody asked for this name change, but I decided to change it simply because, in my opinion, it sounded so much better, besides I'm sure nobody has developed any kind of "attachment" to the first name, to be honest, but if you guys don't like it. My Story

I was born April 13th 1927, right before the depression in Milwaukee, WI. My father was a speakeasy owner in the south side, mother was a church worker. Funny enough Rico isn't even my real name, It just sound cooler. My real names Rodney Susaminski, My Father worked the speakeasy in one of the old rooms of the church, and they were oblivious to it. He turned it into a bar once the depression hit. During this time i fell in love with jazz music, big band stuff. you know. I wanted to learn trumpet for joy but we could for obvious reasons. So, i stole one, learn in secret and went on from there.

I was a stupid teenager, i did some stupid sh*t, like fake my age to 18 and join the Army during the war. I was in the Pacific front and boy did i regret that, saw people die, internally and externally. I left the front and was sent home with a broken leg. I took up smoking to forget all that. but i continue with playing my instrument. Started a band, we went on a tour, Chicago, New York, Atlantic city, Cincinnati, etc. Granted we didn't sell out Carnige Hall we just played in hotels and casinos, We got held up in Jersey, but came here to avoid that sh*thole

I don't know how I made it honestly, I've been everything. Well not everything, I didn't fall so low I became a hooker, but you get the idea.

Anyway, thanks for listening, it means a lot to me.

You probably will never see the light again, thankfully you decided to get out of there before you got into trouble. Anyhoo, I think everyone has fallen in love before, its just whether or not you can convice you to love them back. Thats the intersting part. I was once in a relationship, a girl by the name of Gladys. I met her in Cincinnati when i was just starting my band in a hotel. She was a manager there, with long brunette hair, she looked like one of those actreses in Hollywood.
We had a thing for a while, thought our band kept movin from hotel to casino, and supper clubs. She still tries to send letters to me though.

Anyway, I'm asking you this because I'm a real lonely guy ever since I lost my family, all of those years ago. The thing here is that I didn't have to be. I had the opportunity once, but I didn't take it, simply because I was scared. I was scared that things would go wrong. I was scared that she would get hurt. I left and never saw her again. I eventually came to terms with myself and forgot about the whole thing, but deep inside me, I knew I could never forget her, and low and behold, it is true. She sparked in my mind once again, like a gas lamp being lit.

And the thing is... that I'm not sure, if I accept those terms anymore.
